Deployment doom

My husband is getting ready to be deployed yet again. We're currently here in New York at Ft. Drum, which by the way is kind of a boring post. But anywho, i know wives do this all the time, but i'm 16 weeks pregnant with our second child and i guess i'm just wanting advise. like he's got an easier and safer job than last time but this sucks. i'm just worried about something happening with us. We haven't really been getting along too well lately, and he's mentioned it a few times. but he doesn't seem to understand that i'm trying to be strong and prepare for it. and be pregnant. lol. any advise on how i should handle things differently?

you cant focus on the negative... especially being prego. I went threw my entire pregnancy without my husband he came home for the birth then left a week later. We were having our ups and downs before he came home and I was worried not only for me and the baby but about our relationship I tried to turn every possible situation into a positive and never thought about the worse it just made things even harder to cope with... All that I can tell you is try to make the best of it record everything!!! take lots of pictures and send them to him update him on things that are happening and try to make it seem like he is there. Make him apart of it as much as possible. and as far as you go Hang in there be strong not only for yourself but for him. Focus on all of the positive things, keep yourself busy it really helps to keep your mind off of things. Good luck and hope it all works out for the best.
