We are looking to be stationed at Fort Drum in NY and I was wondering if anyone was up that way. Looking to get ideas on where to live and where to start looking for work.

I'll be there in 3 weeks!! I know that the wait list for 3 bedrooms on post is INSANE but if you only need a 2 bedroom you should be ok. Sorry, I'm not much help yet, but I will be soon!!

well good luck to U.. I grew up there hope u r ready for long COLD winters...It is a very pretty place to be if you like the outdoors.. Not much around.. Watertown is the nearest city.. what kind of work u lookin for?? I haven't been "Home" in a while but last time I was there they were starting to Build stuff..Walmart, Target, Best Buy, sams club.. Look up watertown daily times, and penny saver for classified..Good luck.. Keep warm U R in for alot of SNOW!!!
