Fort Polk?

We are PCSing to Fort Polk in a couple weeks and I was just wondering about the basics. I've never been there, but I have read nothing but bad things about the place. How is the weather there? What is there to do for small children (I have a 16 month old daughter). How is the OB on post? (I am 18 weeks pregnant). :)

well i live like 10 minutes from fort polk. there is not much to do on post for little kids. there is a park and ponds and a beach. but what ever u need to know just look me up on here and i can tell u pretty much anything about fort polk
