Anyone stationed at Ft. Myer or Ft. Belvior? My husband is PCSing there and we are looking for a place to live. We were told on base housing is very scarce, so we are looking to rent in nearby towns. If anyone could recommend an area that is young-family friendly, close to stores/restaurants, and safe...that would be great!

Hello Jennifer. Im pretty familiar with the area as i grew up in Virginia but now i live in Maryland. Ft Myer is about 40 minutes away from where we are stationed at. When are you guys getting here?
