I'm Amberly and I'm getting ready to move back to norfolk. I have a 15 month old girl and a 4 month old boy. I am in need of friends because I do not have many in the area. hi! im actually in virginia beach! i have a 6 month old boy and my husbands gone a lot getting ready to deploy i dont have a busy life but love meeting new people. my name is nicky and im 24 im in the navy also but out in 6 months!

We are near Smithfield, but go to church in Norfolk. My family goes to First Baptist Norfolk and they have a MOPS group and a support group for military spouses. They offer a lot to military families. We love the area. Moving is easier now that my children are older. It is easier to meet people when you have little ones in school.

I think a few of us live in Chesapeake or right on the boarder. What about Mt. Trashmore or the Park with the baseball fields on Kempsville near the elementary school?

hola..my husband is stationed at NOB but we live in N.N or yourktown..which ever one, its borderline..any who..my children are older..13, 8 and 3. I hope you and these other sahm's can get together and have fun...i work, go to school and the children have activities....karate..boxing..band...etc...so i dont get alot of time to come across the water unless i work at the hospital that day(De Paul)....but good luck....

Hey Ladies,

It sounds like we are all military mommy's in the area. Maybe it would be fun for us to get together next week! Take the kids to the park or something along those lines. The weather looks like it is going to cool off a little! Moving all around It can be hard to meet friends you can relate too, I know we have all been there. So lets bring our mommy friends and get together!

Hi Tiffany! I came across youR post and you sound so sweet! my husband is stationed there too. I am 22 and have 16 month old twin girls. And my close friend who's husband is also stationed there is 21 and has a 12 month old little boy. We are always looking to meet new friends. We would love to meet up with you somtime! We take the kiddos to the McArthur mall and let them play in the big play area. We should meet up there next week sometime. Hope you are adjusting well to the new area! Hope to hear from you soon.
