I am moving to Fort Bragg in January and have a 4 yr old son. Looking to find out any info about the area. Housing, schools, things to do and possibly make some friends before I move there. Thanks so much

So far I've found a couple of things to do in fayetteville with my two yr old daughter. Monkey Joes, ChuckECheese (Not too fond of), there is a pretty cheap movie theatre that shows movies for around 3 dollars, not the cleanest but you can't beat the price. Its not too much, but I'm still on quest for things to do and I have been here since last September as well. Good luck..

I've been here since September of last year and I still haven't found anything. There is a kind of cute little children's museum. There is a lot of bad about the area but downtown is really nice. I suggest going to the walmart in spring lake and not the one of Skibo Rd. You'll understand when you get here. My daughter is just turning 3 so I can't say much school wise but I've heard good things about the schools ON base.
