I "met" my husband when we were in 9th grade('03). (I say "met" because we were never introduced and never introduced ourselves we just had a lot of mutual friends and heard each others names a lot lol)
The first time I met him, I had art with one of my closest guy friends (Jon), we walked out of the class and he stood by the door. We both stood there talking until this new kid (my husband, Jody.... go ahead and laugh we all make fun of him for it. lol).
Well I'm talking to Jon and mid sentence Jody interrupts me. This went on for weeks! I thought he was cute, but i couldn't stand him... he was so rude lol, always interrupting me. We hung out alot, due to having a lot of mutual friends. I started hanging out with a different group (because I couldn't stand jon's girl friend, Julissa), and started crushing on another friend of mine. He and I had decided to wait until after the summer to start dating though.

Summer came and went and we started school again. the guy I was supposed to start dating would hardly acknowledge that i was alive let alone anything else. A friend of my who was close to Julissa talked me into at least being civil with her and Julissa had invited me to her birthday party.
She was still dating Jon and he and Jody had become best friends, so Jody was there too.
Jody and I spent the entire night shamelessly flirting with each other. At one point Julissa had pulled me of to the side and asked me what was going on with me and the other guy, when I explained she asked what i thought of Jody and I told her that I liked him. I noticed that Jon had taken Jody off to the side too. so i knew what they were up to even though they kept denying it. Julissa had talked me into "ending" things with the other guy regardless of the Jody situation and i knew she was right(this was all on a fri or sat night).
Monday night I gave the other guy a note (since he wouldn't talk to me) telling him I was sick of him leading me on nad wanted nothing to do with him anymore. I decided to go hang out with jon that morning and of course Jody was with him... just before the bell rang, he asked me out.
I still remember our first kiss and him telling me i was the best thing that ever happened to him. for our 1 month ann. he bought me a gold plated heart necklace. about a month later Jon nad julissa went through a nasty break up and she started trying to pull Jody away from me for herself (she had done this to me twice before, hence my hatred for her). Jody would tell that he didn't think of her like that and never could... but rather than letting her have the satisfaction of taking him from me I broke up with him after dating for 3 months. I felt he was THE one but all i kept thinking was "i'm only 15 anyways and hell if it's meant to be it will happen somehow."
He started dating Julissa shortly after despite mine and Jon's warnings. and they were together for quite a while.
I got into a pretty serious relation when i turned 16 and was with the guy for most of 2 years. We had gotten engaged and i found out he was cheating on me so i broke it off. There were a couple other guys after him but nothing lasted longer than a couple months and I was dumb enough to get back with my ex from time to time.
senior year ('07)we started hanging out again. Jody had just gotten text and was struggling to learn how to text while getting other texts so my friend and i would randomly text him. I sent him a random text one night after i had gotten of work and he text back that it didn't work we started we talked for a while before he said "well I have to go to bed darling" and I jokingly text back "check on the kids when you go upstairs"... somehow that lead to us sexting until i fell asleep. After a week of doing this every night, i told a friend of mine at work about it and she asked why we didn't just get back together so i mentioned it to him and we mutually agreed to give it a shot. Feb 15th 2007 we started dating again. I told him i didn't want anything serious at the time and we agreed to break up before he left for basic.
As the date got closer we couldn't bring ourselves to break up. May 21st 07 at 1 am he asked me to marry him. we graduated high school that same day. I left for a trip may 26th and may 31st he left for basic. I then moved from UT to GA
We had wanted to be engaged for a year before we got married but after basic and the first month or so of AIT we decided that we didn't want to be away from each other any longer than we had to and that we should get married sooner. My mom and i started planning our wedding in mid oct. '07 he got out of AIT and we both flew back to UT and met up to see our families and get his stuff. we spent 2 day in ut and then drove cross country. and made it to my mom's 1 hour before my final dress fitting. we got married Nov. 25th 2007. and left from out reception to make it to fort drum in time for his report date (which was by midnight the 26th).
I've been fighting the army for him ever since lol.
We were surprised found out I was pregnant aug '08, he deployed Jan '09 and our daughter was born whil he was on r&r April 10th 09.
We're coming up on 3 years here in a couple months and we are just as in love as ever. Nothing Turned out according to plan. but I wouldn't change it for anything. I am so happy we couldn't break up, because now i don't know what i would do with out him. At the same time I am glad that we broke up when we were 15, it gave us time to grow up a little and allow us to appreciate what we have now. !5 year old me was right, he is the one, he did come back, and He is well worth the wait. =]

Walking down memory lane is awesome. I met my soldier March 2, 2008 through a online military penpal site. I had done this for abt a yr...and then i answered his email and we began talking after abt two weeks he wanted to take me out and although i was hesitant i agreed. One date turned into a date every friday ..weeks turned into mths and mths into yrs! He had just joined up with the army a week before we met and had just got out of the navy a bit before...soon we were inseperable...and the i love you's was a lil after a yr or so. We began sharing a life and he could finish my sentences and knew my thoughts....i met his mom and step dad over a yr ago and although we had discussed marriage ..he still so suprised me...he took me to the veterans memorial that is out in fron of my gym and got on his knee and asked me to marry him:) of course i said yes..and we are scheduled to be married in a cpl weeks. I love my soldier and love that he choose me to love and make part of his life. I have felt like i have known him all my life yet dont know anyone like him in the least..odd that a california boy fell for a georgia girl like me:) I so cant wait to be his wife:)

So my dad runs his own masonry business and the hubby's dad actually runs a COMPETING business lol... so our dads knew each other for a LONG time before we did. I was always hanging out with my girlfriends when my dad went to his dads house (b/c they've been really good friends for yrs) & my sophmore yr in hs we had a class together.. he says "hey i know your dad" and i was like oh really cool i have no clue who you are! haha well turns out he worked with his dad and asked my dad for my number... we started talking and were both dating other people (oops) haha but somehow later that school year we started dating and have been together for 4 years and married for a yr and a half :] he's going on 2 years in the AF in September... now we just argue about who's dad is going to brick our house when we get back home, but of course my dad will :]

awww tah. i love your story. haha you didnt want law and order to have another episode. too fuuny.

My husband and i went to the same high school actually. I remembeer have biology with him my sophmore year and thinking he is so quiet, he must be a freshman. i figured he was just some smart freshman who got to take a sophmore class so i didnt pay much attention to him. fast forward to out seniour year and we had 3 classes together. Everyone loved him, he was the class clown, trouble maker, and loved to pick on anyone. It took me a while to realize he was the little boy from biology. He had grown sooo much i didnt recognize him (he is now 6'2) anyway they year went on and he would always bother me in class, he would come sit on my lap, take my work, pick on me...i figured he was just an ass. He would get upset if other guys walked me to class and always had to step in and separate me from the other guys. he always wanted me to hug him,but he was a big flirt so i figured he did that to every girl. He texted me one night during out winter break and told me he likes me...i was not allowed to date and had never had a guy like me before so i just wrote back "i like you too, we are best friends"

fast forward to the end of the year and we were the only 2 students who had to retake our math exam. we stayed after school that day and i offered him a ride home. he told me how he has liked me all year and how everyone knew except me. after i dropped him off at his house, he sent me a text saying he really wanted to kiss me but was scared. the next day i gave him a ride home again and gave him the kiss he had been wanting. ever since then we have been together. he told me that he knew he had to just come out and tell me before school ended because he would probably never see me again. every time it comes up i just laugh because i was so clueless. i never thought the little boy who i thought was some lame freshman would one day be my husband.

well mine is a kinda crazy story first off



i met my husband at his apartment he shared with my ex boyfriend. my ex and i were friends w/benefits lol igot to his apartment like at 5 am so after awhile my ex woke his roommate up his name was chris he was an army recruiter so we all talked becasue at the time i was going to join my ex left for work chris and i started talking nothing happened between us. he had a fiance she was coming up to visit that day i went home we were texting just friends i went back that night or the next night they were having a partying so i got dog a** drunk so my ex left me at his house while they went out to rabb's were he got his nose broke for hugging another guys girlfriend so funny chris and his girl stand there she got mad because he was making sure i was ok they fought like the whole night if i wasnt so drunk i would have told her to shut up but everytime i moved the room started spinning after that he broke up with her we started talking and dating my ex was so pissed off at both of us he moved out he didnt wan to be with me but i quess he didnt want anybody to be with me either lol 6 months later we got preggo with our daughter and we got married 5 months later on dec 9, 2006 and had our daughter on march 31 she was 4 weeks early been happy and unhappily married for 3 years thats the army life i wont have it any other way

My husband and I met during both of our tours to Iraq. I was on a forward operating base and his unit would come in to pick up their laundry and get the things that they would need during the week. Also, in my job, I had to go out to different areas to talk and check on the soldiers. It ended up that I had to go where he was located. Initially we didn't really hit it off. We said hi the first time I went to his location and then he asked for my e-mail address when he came to the fob I was on. We ended up not talking again until I went back out to his location a few months later. While I was there that time, we hit it off and began talking almost daily. I was going home a few months later and didn't want to start anything, but after about 2 months of talking I gave in and said I would try a long distance relationship. I came home from my tour in Iraq and he spent the next 7 months completing his tour. I knew he was the one for me before I even left Iraq. About a month prior to him coming home he said we should think about getting married because he was going to possibly be moving to Germany and he didn't want to be without me. So, I took leave to be there when he came home and the weekend after he got home we were married! That was just over 3 1/2 months ago!

I met my husband in college. I went to apply for a 2nd part time job, mainly for bar money, and he was the manager at the party store I applied at. 6 other guys worked there, and I was the only female. All the guys that worked there except him had crushes on me, and my husband was the only one that I had eyes for the minute I met him. Him ignoring me made me try even harder to get him to notice me. I brought him dinners while he was working, baked him all kinds of cookies and treats, invited him every night I went to a party or the bar, and I even cleaned his house (which he lived in with 2 of the other guys that worked with us), and that was disgusting. He finally caved in, and took me on a date, from that day we were inseparable. After he graduated from college that year, he decided to join the Army and told me that he wanted to marry me someday. After being apart during basic that marriage idea was stronger than ever, knowing that we never wanted to be apart again. So we planned a wedding set to take place three weeks after our 1 year dating anniversary. been together for 2 1/2 years now and just celebrated our first anniversary!

I was in my office and my husband walked in saying he needed help. I asked if he had an appointment? He said, um no, but I'm apparently in trouble and my Div O sent me up to see you. (I worked in the command legal office at the time). I said, get out of my office Petty Officer, when I want to see you I'll call you. He gave me a funny look, walked out and I went next door to my co-worker and said, Oh my god he's so cute. She laughed because I had kicked him out of my office instead of flirting with him. She took over his case for me because I didn't think I could do my job with him; he asked her why she was doing everything but didn't work in legal and she actually told him that it was because I liked him. His case was dismissed and 2 months later he brought flowers and a teddy bear to my office, left them there with a note that said, "I asked a lot of people about you, and I know you've been through the relationship ringer so I'm not asking you out but offering you someone to vent to over coffee because you deserve it." We became the best of friends; and when I transferred about 18 months later and he showed up at the same duty station 2 months later (different command). My kids were excited to see him, and so was I. Up until that point we had been just friends, and once he was there at the new duty station it blossomed into a romance. We married and are now getting ready to celebrate our 3rd year of marriage in April and our 9th year of friendship.

I met my husband in high school. Well, it was actually during the summer right before school started, but anyhoo.....
I had to drive my younger brother to and from football practice, and we lived way out in the country so, rather than dropping him off, driving home just to turn right around and go pick him up, I stayed there, and sat in the sun. I waited for him to get done. Well, they were not actually suppose to be practicing yet, so they were just lifting weights and playing touch football. I got asked if I wanted to play because they didn't have enough people. So I said yeah why not. Well, DH was on my team, and everyone kept switching so I got confused and thought he was on the other team so when he got the ball, I tried "tackle him" . Well, turns out he was still on my team. Ha, so, I got made fun of a little, but I thought he was really cute and I wanted to be with him from the moment I first saw him....however, he had a girlfriend so I never talked to him. We ended up having PE class together so I got to see him everyday, and one day I found out that him and his girlfriend had broke up. It was right before the Sadie Hawkins dance, so my friend talked me into asking him. I did, he said yes, and we have been together ever since. He never actually asked me to date him; one of our mutual friends asked me one day, and I said I didn't know (we didn't talk much during school and stuff at first) so she asked him, and he said "I thought we were". So we agreed that our actual date for starting dating was in April when we went to prom together. We have been together for coming up on 8years in March, married for 3yrs, and our daughter will be 1 at the end of March. Nothing like a high school sweetheart story, huh?

met mine, well saw him for the first time outside the recruiting offices he was headed into the Marines and I was going Airforce a friend i was with said hey that "jarhead" is stareing at you, I preceeded to cuse him(husband) out then got dragged inside,....fastforward we meet again threw my little cousin at a bowling ally we exchanged nimbers more out of a need for me to keep tabs on my cousin, and ended up spending hours on the phone with him, he helped me find a way out of my current relationship which was rather controling and going no where, and a 1 year deployment later we got married in a "shotgun" wedding and i am loving every minute i have with him

I met my husband at a nightclub while he was stationed in Hawaii. He came up to me and offered to buy me a drink and I wasn't one to turn down a free drink. We started talking and kind of hit it off. My "best friend" apparently was into him also and made me feel really bad about it so over the past few weeks I just blew him off. He persisted and when I ran into him again, I finally gave in and said I would call him tomorrow after a few persuasive moves on his part. That night me and my "best friend" got in a fight over another guy that was into me and not her, and she threw my cell phone out of the car. So I learned that night that I didn't care what she thought anymore and called him the next day. We met that night and the rest is history. I know I made the right decision we have been married for almost 4 years now.

My husband and I actually met 10 yrs ago when I was 16 at Taco Bell. I worked there and he was a shift manager. We liked each other back then but it didnt go anywhere cuz i was in a relationship with someone I "loved." Then I ended up quitting and Tim and I lost contact. Then he moved to Cali and then came back and then when I was 20 we started talking again and even dated for a little while but then I broke up with him cuz he wanted something more serious and i had just gotten out of a relationship and i was still hurting over that. Then when I was 22 we started talking again. I was 6 months pregnant and the biological father wasnt around. He stepped in and was with me in the delivery room and he has been Ethan's father ever since then. I realized what a great guy he really was. We moved in together and then in 2008 he was laid off and decided to join the Navy. When he came back from boot camp we got married and we now have a little girl and are just as happy as can be.

well im from germany and i was visting my dad in america before he got deployed. while i was there i was talking to my cousin who was deployed to iraq and apperently he had told his friend that im single. so two days later his friend wrote me a message. normally i dont even respond to messages but he had something special. so we were talking for 2 weeks before we finally admited that we liked each other. i stayed in america for 3 more months just so i could meet him when he came home from iraq. we got pretty serious and we got engaged over the internet lol. well he came home and the first second we were alone he proposed to me and i said yes. one month later we got married. which is over one year ago now. im expecting our first baby and we are happier then we have ever been, needless to say i never went back to germany:]

I met my hubby thru my best friend. She had been friends with him for about 4 years before she introduced me to him. (they were more like accantances now that i think about it)



I'd known about him for 4 years before we met, and he didn't even know i exsisted haha!

I knew he was incredibly good at video games and he was really smart and that he was homeschooled. (and 18, I was 15 (this was when we started dating btw))



Turns out his family was friends with my family, and my bf's family was friends with both our families. So it was like a triangle of family friendships lol. They'd all get together at parties and such but my hubby isn't very social so he never went to any.



I babysat his niece when she was born and hung out with his sister and mother a little bit. Still never met him.



His family, him, and my bf's family all worked at Tacobell. My bf's mom is bf's with my mom so we went to Tbell alot to visit. Never ran into the hubs!! And he worked front counter, haha!!



Basically we were like, destined to be together and we just never got the opritunity to meet. Until my friend called and asked if i wanted to go hang out with her and Jr. I was hanging out with my other bff at the time and begged her to go hang out with them. (she agreed and came with us! :D Note; we're just a bunch of kids at the time lol)



So we went over to his house and he didn't even know we were coming until we walked in the front door and my friend said "oh yea, btw I brought friends, hope thats ok." he said no problem. we spent the entire day at his house and hanging out with him. we fell for eachother instantly. A week later we started dating. 2 years later we got married. And now (in our 3rd year together) we're expecting our first little boy in march (2 months away) :)

Our story is pretty similar to yours...lol we met online to I had recently gotten out of a long relationship that like yours was going nowhere, and was wanting people to talk to, when you are working two jobs you don't have much of a social life...lol We talked for a couple days online and then he drove two hours to meet me...of course, I took precautionary measures we met in a public place and people knew where I was going and I had my cell. We have been together since, we got married in Sept 2009 only two months after we met, but we are happy and we found out about two weeks ago that we are expecting our first!!!

I met my husband when he was a freshman in high school and I was a junior. He was one of my brothers friends and at that time I wouldn't give him the time of day. Then 4 years later when I was 5 months pregnant with my daughter and working at a gas station. He walked in and remembered me. We talked and I later gave him my number. A week after he called we went on our first date. Next thing we know we were engagged and he went off to boot camp. After boot camp we got married and now we are waiting for him to get done with schooling so we can get out first duty station.

I met my husband 22 years ago while we were both teenagers. I thought he was such a hottie but he was only 14 and i was 16, and there was no way i was getting involved with a kid who didnt even have his own car.He left at the age of 17, I left and came back. Move forward 21 years and I run in to a friend I havent seen in a few years and she asks if I remember him, of course I did, he made a hell of an impression on me all of those years agowell just so happens that they were friends in highschool and she found him via the internet on The Iron Horse video#68 and got in touch with his dad.Good news he is coming back from his second tour in Iraq and has to come back to Alabama to pick up his car he left with his dad and is hanging out in Alabama a few days.March , Friday 13 2009 I (re)met my souls mate.We married 22 July 2009 and I moved to Colorado. Life is wonderful and I am very blessed to have tis time with him before he redeploys in March.

My husband was 24 and I was 18 and we meet at a club. His friends dragged him out and I was out with my friends celebrating one of our friends turning 18. Now the rest is a bit blurry (too much to drink LOL) but we talked,danced (for him thats a big deal) and he ran off to talk to someone so I thought that was it any way one of my friends got ill and we had to go I went back past where he was to get someone and turned to leave and like one of those corny romance movies he grabbed my arm as I was leaving and asked for my number. Been together 4 yrs, married for 2 yrs, done 2 deployments and have one daughter and all worth it.

I met my husband at a pizza place called the Mellow Mushroom . . . after we met online. The first part was the only story we told everyone for a LONG time. That was Feb 17, 2002. We were married June 29, and have been together for 8 years this year.

I had signed up on Yahoo Personals shortly after 9/11. The local morning radio hosts were talking about the surge in online dating since 9/11. I was curious, posted a pic, and on Feb 8, I heard from him. His picture included his little boy (he was about 4 in the pic). He had been divorced for almost 2 years; I was in the middle of a nasty divorce, myself. I had moved away from my husband and had had no contact with him in nearly a year.

I wasn't looking to become involved, just wanted to date. My kids were 17 & 18. I didn't want anymore since mine were grown. The moment I laid eyes on him though, I knew he was the man I was going to marry.

Now, we have a son (oops!) who is the apple of my eye. Through all kinds of problems, serious illness being diagnosed, deployments, finances, problems with kids, we're still together, better than ever, and he goes on terminal next Tuesday. I'm going to miss being an Air Force wife. : ``(

I meant my man on a blind date. I was in college and was babysitting for the man he worked with. I would come in a couple of times a week so his wife could get away and do some shopping and errands that needed to be done. They had a brother who was bed ridden so someone had to be with him at all times. Any way my husband saw me walking away from the house one day and asked Cindy who was that girl and when she answered him. He asked if she thought I would go out with him, she asked me and I said I always gave them at least one chance. We meant on a Saturday, he asked me to marry him 6 days later and we were married 3 months later, just befor he had to report in a El Toro. He had just reupped and was going to be a carrier MARINE. Well in Feb. we will celebrate 36 yrs. and yes I love him more today than the first time I meant him. When I opened my door that cold November night, I knew I had just meant the man I was going to marry.

I met my husband while we were both stationed in Columbus Mississippi. He had dated my co-worker and she told me to get her cd from him. I got the cd back, and he emailed me the next day asking for my number. We went out to dinner a few days later, and have together ever since. And we just celebrated two wonderful years of marriage.

Well I met my Husband in Kuwait. We were deployed. I had just gotten there. I joined the company after PCSing the company deployed in DEC 04, I didn't get there till APR 05. I was the FNG. I had been in my office for a month or, he came down for a SOM board. When he came in and we got introduces by the 1SG.... I got pissed off because he was taller then me. He knows this now , but then (in my mind) I called him an a$$ whole. I got over that when we redeployed. We started hanging out after, I dumped, the worst month long boyfriend ever. we didn't admit we were dating until after two month of dating apparently. I married my best friend.

awww, that was really sweet!! Our story isn't nearly as romantic...but...I met my husband through a, so called, friend. (She a whole nother story!!) They were dating at the time and came over to help me and my daughter move into our new apt across town. He was on my MySpace and eventually I lost contact with both of them and one day decided to see how he was doing. Well, they had broke up so I invited him over. We started hanging out but we each started dating other people. We stayed in touch for a while but eventually drifted away. A little over a year later I sent him a message on MySpace. He never replied so I forgot about it. One day he sent me a message and told me he was coming home from tech school. I gave him the address to my new apt and, again, didn't hear back. I was sitting in my living room with a friend from high school who stopped by while he was passing through town. There was a knock on the door. I was looking no where near my best!! I was just out of the shower long enough for my hair to be half curly frizz and half wet. I was also just getting over a horrible cold so my eyes were kinda puffy and my lips were dry and chapped. I had on an old t-shirt and shorts...and it was in Nov in IN. (I wasn't worried about getting all done up for my friend who had stopped by b/c he had known me all through my awkward high school stages and he's pretty much a brother.) So, I opened the door and was speechless. I saw my, now, husband standing there, but he seems so different. I almost didn't recognize him as the guy I once knew. Before me was a man!! A really, really, good looking man!! So, he came in and we all sat there and talked for a few min (mainly the guys doing the talking. My friend is a Marine and was in full uniform. My husband in the Air Force and he was wearing their jacket. It was, at first, an awkward moment!) So, my friend left after taking the small hints I gave when my husband wasn't looking. hehehe After that day, my husband stayed at my house nearly every night before he left to go to the base he was, and still is, stationed at. He didn't have a car so I would make the 4 hour drive to pick him up and bring him home as often as I could. Every time he was home he stayed at my house. Neither of us were looking for a relationship, but quickly found ourselves in one. A few weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend, then a few months later we were talking on the phone and asked when we were going to get married. I immediately ran to my calendar!! The next available date for both of us was April 1, 2008 (Yes, we were married on April Fool's Day!! No one believed us.). He came home and the next day he picked me up from work at 9:30 a.m. (I work split shifts at a day care.) and we went to the court house and were married in a small room in the court house. After which we went to Burger King, to buy a ring, to see my friend's baby at the hospital, then home for a nap before I had to go back into work. lol It's silly and none of it makes sense to even me, but was perfect. Now he is deployed and I am staying with my parents waiting on my love to come back home. I love him more today than I did the day we were married and am looking forward to everything the future has to bring us.

my husband i actually met online as well. at hotornot.com. (i know its weird) but what led me to get on that site goes way back. i had actually been dating someone for a year and a half, me him and a girl i worked with (now one of my best friends) were supposed to move into an apt together, put down all the deposits and a week from move in date i got sick of my boyfriends crap and broke up with him. guys youre dating should not talk and flirt with other girls in my opinion. anywho Sam, the girl i worked with and i moved in together with out the boy, and we became best friends, did everything together. so she made me get on hotornot because she was on there. 4 days after i got on there Mikael(my now husband) messaged me. we talked for a few weeks and finally decided to meet for the first time. i was super skeptical because guys on the internet can be weird so i drug like 12 of my friends out with me at midnight to meet this guy with me, we met out at Snoqualmie Pass. my friends and i were huge fans of late night drunk sledding :) Mikael didnt talk much, i think said like a total of 4 words to me that night. needless to say with me being a talker i didnt think it would work out. he called like 300 times in 2 weeks and i ignored EVERY single phone call, til one day i accidentally answered, and we were inseperable. Started dating December 20, 2006. i was 16 when we met and he was a few months shy of 20. we hit our first "out to sea" 7 months into dating, and i honestly didnt know how i would do with it, but we stuck it out..he was gone alot, but i knew after that first long amount of time apart with no contact, that he was my soul mate. October, 2008 he was in port in San Diego for a couple weeks, where i was able to talk to him, but that wasnt enough. i decided i was gonna go visit for 3 days. i flew out the same night i decided, and he picked me up from the airport in those wonderful dress blues that come on ladies, we have to love!! we drove back to our hotel, and when i walked in the floor was covered in pink and white rose pedals, and all over the bed, and on the bed was a bear with the ring box, he proposed i said yes!! and then 2 months later December, 2008 we got married at Snoqualmie Pass where we met for the first time. 9 days after we got married i found out i was pregnant, i had to tell him over the phone because he was deploying again, i spent the whole year pregnant, newly married by myself. he got home in November, 3 months after our daughter was born, and we just hit our first anniversary. :) still just as happy as the day i decided to give him another chance. haha.

I met my husband at my Senior Prom. He went with one of my friends, AS FRIENDS. He kept showing up right behind me all night. Sorta creepy at first. But I'm extremely grateful to my friend who brought him to prom. =)

i love this question.. i just walked by my husband in walmart.. yes walmart then 2 or 3 days later he ended up knowing the people that lived next to me.. and ever since that day we have been together*love at first sight* we got together Feb 14.. and married April 7th.. now almost 5years later.. and i'm pregnant with our 4th child.. crazy how life is..

OH and this was a year before he joined the military he was working at walmart at this time..

i was just out of a horrible two year relationship.... I walked into my moms job..... which i worked at for 4 years.... and i saw this handsome man working in the mens department i looked like hell... just woke up and had to run in and get my moms car to take for an oil change... and my mom insisted on me meeting him i kept telling her no mom!... she dragged me over and and introduced us.... he gave me his number and told me to text him around 6 that was when he was getting done work... well we texted for about a week before we decided to hang out... but come to find out... he was dating around and didnt want ne thing serious... i had a girl text me from his phone saying stop texting my boyfriend... he texted me later that night wondering why i havent texted him all day... i said why dont u ask ur girlfriend.... i didnt text him the rest of the night and continued to ignore his texts for the rest the week.... he continued to text me... telling me that she wasnt his girlfriend that dont talk that he took her out on a date but it wasnt worth it... about a month later i broke down and texted him back... we hung out.... he took me out to lunch..... we started dating about a week later..... 3 months later he proposed January 11 2008... and guess where... where we met... in the mens department infront of all the workers.....i said yes! we got married feb 17th 2009 and right after we got married i found out i was pregnant.... we got married on his R&R from his deployment to Iraq... we have been happy ever since... :)

OK! MINE IS KINDA FUNNY! I HAD JUST GOTTEN OUT OF AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP. I WAS STUCK IN THAT RELATIONSHIP FOR SEVEN YEARS TILL I SENT HIM TO PRISON FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER.( OK THAT PART IS NOT FUNNY BUT THE REST IS)
I GOT INTO CONTACT WITH FRIENDS I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE CONTACT WITH AND THEY WELCOMED ME BACK WITH OPEN ARMS. IT WAS AWSOME. I HAD TWO KIDS AND NEEDED SOME MOMMY TIME TO FIND MYSELF AGAIN.... SO MY GIRLS NEW JUST WHAT TO DO! WE WENT AND GOT MY NOSE PEIRCED, PARTY ALL THAT FUN STUFF! WELL ONE NIGHT WE DECIDED TO GO TO A LITTLE BAR IN SAN CLEMENTE CALIFORNIA. WE WERE HAVING A GOOD OLD TIME. OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY EYE I SAW THIS GIRL STANDING NEXT TO ME BY HERSELF... SO I STARTED TALKING TO HER AND WELCOMED HER INTO OUR LITTLE GROUP.. SHE INVITED US BACK TO HER HOUSE TO KEEP HAVING FUN BUT SHE TOLD US TO KEEP IT DOWN CAUSE HER LITTLE BROTHER(21YRS) WAS ASLEEP AND HAD TO WORK THE NEXT DAY... WE WALKED IN THE DOOR AND HE WAS ASLEEP ON THE COUCH.. SHE WOKE HIM UP AND FIRST THING I DID WAS INTRODUCE MY SELF....HE DID NOT GO BACK TO SLEEP... EVERYONE STARTED GETTING ROUDY AND WE DECIDED TO GO FOR A WALK TO THE BEACH. HE DIDNT WANT ME TO LEAVE BUT I HAD TO GO HOME TO MY KIDS...WE SAW EACHOTHER THE NEXT DAY AND PRETTY MUCH EVERYDAY AFTER THAT...I WAS SCARED TO GET INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM CAUSE I WAS 27 AND TWO KIDS....IT DIDNT BOTHER HIM A BIT...THE FUNNY THING IS THAT HIS SISTER WAS PISSED AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY THAT HIM AND I ARE TOGETHER! SHE WANTED ME AND STILL SAYS I BROUGHT HER HOME FIRST! WE LAUGH ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME. I HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS TRYING TO GET WITH ME... ITS OK I HOOKED HER UP WITH ONE OF MY FRIENDS.LOL

This is funny... I met my husband while working at a coffee shop. Yep. I was his coffee girl. I'd see him every morning at the same time. We had a drive thru and I'd recognize his truck coming. Hey for months his name was 3 sugars 2 creams. lol. Finally he asked me why I never used his name. This coffe shop was on a military base so his name was on his chest. The thing was that his name took up one side of his shirt. (And I still married him and took the name) So we played with that for a while. The thing was that I was seeing some one else at the time when he asked me out the first time. Then I hurt my back and was out for 3 months. Through my friends there I was told he asked about me every day and the guy I was seeing decided we should just be friends. So when I did come back he happened to walk in for some strange reason that morning and saw me there. He asked how I'd been and if I knew he had asked about me. I told him that my friends had told me a few times. He then told me that my boyfriend should give me a good back rub when I got off work to keep my back from getting injured again. I told him that I no longer had one and he slipped me his receipt back with his number on it. I still have it today 7 years later. We were married 5 months after we had that conversation. During this time I found out he had never dated anyone else and waited for me. Funny thing is that my best friend had tried to get us together before by trying to shove me into his car window through the drive thru. lol. I suppose she knew something then.

I met my husband on duty in the Navy. We were both at Nuc School for the Navy. We first met because I traded duty so I could have a weekend off. We became friends, and as time went on we both had really bad things going on in our lives and found comfort in each other. We fell in love, and now are so happy!

my best friend casually dated my husband ... and we became good friends. weird, I know. He is 9 years younger than me, and I honestly had no attraction to him at all in the beging. The 3 of us used to do a lot together ad we got to know each other pretty well. He went on leave one christmas and she started dating someone else, and became quite serious with him over the 2 weeks he was gone, so when he got back, she wanted me to tell him she counldn't hang out with "us" any more, which was awkward. so then it was just the 2 of us. Things just kind of took on a life of their own from there, but as the relationship escalated, I did talk to her and let her know to make sure it wastn't going to be an issue....

so, her husband and I are both ordained,and we ended up doing each others ceremonies within a few weeks of eachoth. we are still best friends, that was is AZ, we are both stationed in Germany now.

My husband and I met at the grocery store. I was 18 and he was 19. I was working there as a cashier/office assistant and he eventually came to stock the shelves until he felt it was time to Enlist. Had a whirlwind romance, whatever you want to call it.. We had a lot n common.. My parents were in the AF and his dad is still in the AF, we liked to go out and do the silliest things, but it was a blast. We started dating just a week and a half after we met and then just 3 months after we started dating, I found out I was pregnant (right before my 19th b-day!) He left about a week after I found out to go to Basic. Came back for 2 weeks on Christmas break and he asked me to marry him. Loooooooooong story short, we got married on May 8, 2008, just a few days after he came back from AIT. Had our son on June 27, 2008 and now I am just waiting for him to come home from Iraq to be with our son and me :)

My husband and I met on a blind date. My best friend was dating a guy in the army and the both just figured out that they had single friends and decided to set us up on a blind date. I fell in love with him as soon as i saw him. But he almost didnt show up. he had planned to stay up all night and drive to my town then me him and my best friend and her bf were all gonna go to austin. but he ended up falling asleeep like an hour before he was suppopsed to leave. hes a really hard sleeper so we kept calling him but he didnt hear his phone ring until like 2 or 3 hours after we were supposed to meet up with us. but we all finally met up went to austin and he was so nervous around me and while we were all having a snack at the mall he pulled me aside apoligized for acting distant but he thought i was really hot and thats why he was nervous. so after that we went to a movie and he wasnt making the first move so i jut put my hand on his leg then he put his arm around me and the rest is history! lol. we've now been married for over 2 1/2 years been through a 1 year deployment to iraq have an 18 motnh old and gonna be going through another deployment to aqfghanistan in august!

Oh. I'm loving these posts. I met my husband at a beauty supply store in Memphis TN.(he needed some skin tight for his face after he shaves) I didn't intend to even talk to him. I was pulling into the parking lot getting out of my car and he was in his car waiting for me to get out of mine. He backed up and asks "If I give you my number will you call me?" I thought to myself what they hey....so I called and after a walk on the river, a move to Texas and a deployment we are married and happy as ever. I was in Memphis for christmas and New Years and stopped by that store to thank them for being there.....I met my husband there and it was the beginning of something wonderful!
