We just moved to Portsmouth, VA a week and a half ago and I am looking for friends. This is our first move with the military. I have lived in Iowa my whole life so I don't know anything about the area or where to even start to try to find friends. I start back to school online in a couple week and I have a one year old son here with us. My husband is stationed at the Naval hospital in Portsmouth for the next six months while in C school Pharmacy Tech school. Anyone around here I would Love to meet and have play dates. Hello Melanie,
I live in Chesapeake, VA and just reently moved here in April from Bremerton, WA. My husband is attached to the USS Tennessee out of Portsmouth and had been in the Navy for 14yrs. I am now a stay at home mom but looking forward to going back to work in the near future. I worked with children with special needs and love it. We have a 10month little girl, twin 12yr. old boys, and a 14yr old daughter. Just let me know if you ever want to get together.
