Hello everyone my husband is station in Norfolk, but we
Live in Chesapeake and just wondering if anyone is near the area like to do a playdate or something. I have a two year son!! Were pretty bored and I haven't made new friends around here yet!

I agree with Abigail. No matter how old the post any post is better than none. My husband is stationed at Norfolk and we live in Virginia Beach. We have a 19 month old daughter. More the merrier!!

I live in Virginia Beach - and stay at home with my 2.5 year old twins! We just transfered here and would LOVE new friends. I know its been a few months since you posted but thought we'd respond anyhow!

Unfortunately I am in San Diego, rather than Norfolk. However, I visited a girlfriend of mine out there and I happened to walk around downtown Portsmouth, not far from Chesapeake. There is a great Childrens Museum there (near the Naval Medical Center). check it out. There is also, on the Newport News side of the area BlueBird Gap Farms. Wonderful place to go visit with the lil' one.
I would love to be out there, it is beautiful.

My husband is also stationed at Norfolk (aboard the USS George H W Bush) however, we live in Newport News outside of Ft.Eustis. :( We're about an hour from Chesapeake. More with traffic. Have you checked out Meetup.com or attended any FRG meetings? I personally am not a fan of our FRG but there are others who have used it to meet mommy's and make friends. It might be worth looking into.
