Hi everyone I'm new here. Been at Sill for a year plus now.I'm interested in meeting moms here . We don't leave for Drum until June but I hope to meet some Drum ladies too. It was hard coming to sill cause we had no family here I was blessed to come up with one of my best friends though. They are gone now though so all alone for now. It would be awesome to meet someone that's headed to Drum too. I'd settle with just someone that's already their there because it will help with the transition. I' know I have to get use to the snow but I'm more worried bout the housing situation there. I really want on post housing. Anyway ready for new friends! !!!!

Ft Drum mommy here too. This was our first post so I remember the whole new post feeling and its not fun. My husband is getting ready to deploy so I'm always looking for new wifes to hang out with. We have a 18 month old daughter and we live off post. From what I've seen if you can find a good price for a actual house off post then its so much better and you get to pocket a little money. But its different for everyone. We lucked out because housing was full when we got here so we had to make due. If you have any questions or maybe want to get together when you guys get here hit me up :)

Im shannon. We live on post and it is very nice, Im from FL and we've been here about 3 weeks, I Still haven't met nyone yet, but Chasing down a 12 month old, and trying to clean and unpack still has become very time consuming but I'm looking forward to meeting friends, hubby is suppose to leave in june or july so I hope I can find some before then lol :)

hello wellthe snow is all right its the wind and cold to worry about, but other than that it can get better. june is a good time to come. its warm and beautiful. we live off post but on post housing is nice too. im not from around here. im from tx so it was hard getting used to meeting friends. but i would like to become friends if you like. just hit me up and ill be here to answer any questions.
