FOLKS WHO HAVE BEEN MOVE TO GERMANY! How long did you wait for housing? Did you have to stay at the previous post without your husband until you got a house? Do they have temporary housing? What is the Army base in K-Town like? What's the housing like? Are the hotel rooms on base expensive, in case we have to stay in one? :/ Can you tell I'm nervous!?

Hi just got here myself on 08/12/12, I did have to wait for about a month in the states after my hubby left for Germany, we waited for our no fee passports. Air force inn in Vogelweh was about $40 a night for us , but we took our receipt to housing office and got reimbursed for it. So good luck!

Hi, I can't tell you how things work in K- town. We were stationed in Mannheim. We didn't have to pay for the hotel room. The Army covers that. After a few days we moved to temporary housing.You should be able to fly the same time as your husband to Germany. We used to live off post and we found our house in three weeks. If you have other questions I can help you with just ask

LOL.. I dont have any info, really.. excpt I heard K-Town was the main Base in Germany!! I hear everyone goes there for leisure, becoz there's so much to do! I know what you mean about nervous. We're headed to Korea, I am excited.. but nervous about the process. Good luck!
