Hello! My husband is a Marine, and I am a stay at home Mom with my son who is 17 months old... we live up by miramar, and we are always looking for playdates to go to or just something fun and kid-friendly to do!!

it is put on by New Parent Support and the kids are all non-schoolaged. I think the oldest ones are almost 3. We used to attend everyweek but just moved. The first Tuesday of everymonth they meet in the Children's section of the library located in the HUB from 10-1130 and then every other Tuesday is at officers park from 930-1100. The support from the other parents and the interaction with all of the kids is amazing!

what are the age ranges for the children? is it mostly older kids or is like a stroller walking group?

how long is he gonna be gone for?? ray's done 3 7 month deployments in the past 4 yeras :( he leaves this saturday so we should definitly get together. maybe we can do like a movie day or something :) or go down to balboa park and just walk around. well when ur hubby does leave holler back and we can get something together!

We don't live on base, but we live really close (Rancho Penasquitos).... my husband is about to deploy at the end of the month, so i'm sure my son and I will be needing a playdate soon!

do ya'll live on base?? my son is about to be 5 months on the 18th and i would love to meet some other moms w/young kids for just a "mommy" playdate. my husband is about to go on his first "big" underway for 12 days at the end of the month. maybe we can hang out!
