my husband just got orders for korea , we find out tomorrow what base but i just want to know something, we heard that if he doesnt have at 3 years left on his contract we cant go with him is this true?

Hi Amanda, It's actually 24 months or more. Accompanied tours for Korea are only 24 months, but the time starts when the family gets to the country, not the soldier! We're headed there at the end of the year (pending Command Sponsorship). I know becoz I went to my hubby's reassignment appointment with him, and this was discussed while we were there & before he signed for his orders.
