I am a coastie wife and live right on the beach, if anyone wants to park here ant take there kiddos out with me and my 6 month old. i would love some company, i am as well going crazy all alone

I hope you all are still reading this. I was looking at the dates and realized its been a couple months :D My husband just got stationed in Portsmouth at the hospital. He is in C school for the next 6 months as Pharmacy Tech I am looking for friends too. I have a one year old son. I start back to school online in a couple weeks but am in NEED of adult friends. I am 29 and looking for some outside contact. :D

I would love to get together with some moms as well. Mt Trashmore is ok, but I tend to think that it's overcrowded, and if you have a really little one, there is no shade near the playground equipment. I just don't feel secure with my 2yr old running around there, it's too easy to lose sight of her. But over on Kempsville, by Centerville, there is another park. City View Park. It's phenomenal. Two jungle gyms with plenty of slides. Trees galore and a pavilion or two. You can see your kids playing from almost anywhere and it's never crowded. Anyone interested, just let me know. I have a 2yr old girl and an 8mo old boy:-)

I'm 3 miles down Little Creek Rd. from Gate 1. Near the Botanical Gardens. I've never been to Mt. Trashmore. I can't get over the name! (Giggles) Would like to see it sometime. I'm available MOnday or tuesday coming up if you'd like to get together. I wish my baby could go to the pool, that would be great!

OMG! My husband was stationed at Little Creek, but has now been deployed to Iraq, and I only know one other person in this area (besides my nice neighbors across the street)! If anyone wants, to, maybe we could all get together with our little ones and go crazy together (outside)! And let off some steam.

i hear ya, i am litterally in the same place, va beach...i have a 5 1/2 month od daughter, and i am a stay at home mom, (Navy wife) i have no social life (well with the adult community) we only have an aunt and uncle in this area, and no other family. its hard. i was told they have mom groups for people like us who are shy...and husbands are away at sea and what not, you should talk to your husband and see if he can get you info. I am shy and not so sure if i wanna do something like that...but it would be good for the kids. maybe you can try that.





I live right next to mount trashmore, and when i get a little stiff from being in the house all day, i go there and take a walk.

Hi Catie. I am 24 and a SAHM to two little girls..... 6 months, and 18 months. Right now I live off of Diamond Springs Rd. but I will be moving to Little Creek Housing by August the latest, hopefully July. So, my kids are a little younger than yours, but I know the feeling of staying in the house all day..... doing the same mundane thing. My little one loves Mt. Trashmore. Maybe we can meet up there one day? If you are interested, let me know. I kind of tend to be shy at first, but it's just until I get to know you. Take care

Well I am in the process of looking for a job ,no luck. yet........... and i would put my children in day care for a few hours ...if I could  afford it!!!! Thanks for the advice

hi catie. im auri its said audi. im not from VA beach but my bro and his family are and i'm going there for a month. my brother is in the navy too and i would love to make some playdates for my niece she is 2 yrs and 5 months old. i kinda dont want to be stuck in the house with my brothers girlfriend for a whole month lol im an army wife and my husband is deployed to iraq. im shy too and i usually dont just go right up to people and just make convo so i understand you. i have a 5 month old baby so now i have to start making some play dates as well lol
