I introduced my daughter to the potty at 12months and so far so good, she understands this is somewhere she goes and when she goes we clap. She now tells me "I pee pee" they catch-on really fast. Good Luck!!

We waited until ours was ready. She was 3 1/2 or so and never had an accident. Even at night. The little smartie took the longest time to notify us when she needed changing. ANd would always responded 'no' when we asked. But one day, the light turned on and she decided she didn't want diapers any more.

I introduced the potty at 12 months...just had it in the bathroom...when I went to the bathroom I would sit them on it ... just with thier clothes on so they would get comfortable...around 18 months we started putting them on it when we thought they needed to go pee...then at 2 we stayed at home for a week and they were potty trained :) Good luck

I started potty training my son at 18 months I was pregnant with my second and didn't want two in diapers. He was potty trained by 24 months. The best way to know there ready is when they sleep trough the night and wake up with a dry diaper. Also during the day we could let him pick something out of our treasure box if he went potty in the toilet.

okay because our little one is 16 months and we've been thinking about starting him but we're not sure if he's ready or not
