you could try a gift of something that he would love or has always wanted to have! put in a picture of the ultrasound perhaps? i know my hubby would love to come home to a nice warm dinner of his favorite food and a beer or good wine! just something relaxing and you can do together he will love! if you have a big enough tub, have a nice dinner and take a long bath!? good luck to you and congrats!! just try to keep the preggo hormones on check the day he comes home! i know he will love that, even if its increadibly difficult! lol

umm when my husband went on his 1st deployment when he got home I had a big sign on the front of our house, red white and blue and welcome home balloons in the living room, I wrote stuff with those car markers on his truck, I wasnt pregnant so I had rose petals and candles leading to the bedroom lol. Thats about it, he didnt get home till 3 a.m so I didnt go way over board hope that helps a bit lol

Amber, you don't have to do anything big for him but just be there with arms open wide to greet him home. You, being his wife, still by his side, and carrying his child will show him just how lucky he is. Always remember that it is just as hard on them as it is on us being away. For them to know that you are at home still loving them and will be there when they return, that will be all he needs to know for you to show him that you love and appreciate him. I have been a military wife for 19 yrs and to this day I still do the same. We have the hardest job but it is the most rewarding! Congrats on your new addition and many happy years to a happy & successful marriage. Take care.
