Tell us about him..

what branch is he in??

what does he do that drives you up the wall, across the ceiling and down the other side??

lets go..

I met my husband online and was sure i would make the news as a warning for internet predators, and when he said navy all i kept hearing in my head was "sailors have a different girl in every port"..my mom said that all the time, and since we dont really have military in Philly, how she knows is beyond me..lol. I tried to run but apparently i was the girl in the horror movies with the heels that always falls, cause he caught me and here we are 5 years later and going strong. He doesnt really do anything that drives me crazy, maybe i cant think right now because he is at work..let me look around the bedroom..im sure ill find something...

My husband and I met while we were both working in a Cracker Barrel, super romantic right? I liked him, but he thought I was weird. So I only convinced him to go on a couple of dates with me, one to a movie where he fell asleep. I finally gave up on him.
A couple months later he started trying to ask me out. I kept telling him no! But I eventually caved and we started hanging out regularly. One night we watched a movie together, I believe it was Scary Movie 2 (once again, super romantic,) I asked him if I could kiss him. As soon as our lips touched I knew that I was going to marry him.
A few months before this he swore into the Air National Guard. We finally started "officially" dating, but after a few months he got his orders for basic training and tech school. He left the first week in November, and I visited him when he graduated basic in the first week of January where we got engaged, and then again when he was in tech school in the middle of February.
The first week in April while I was talking to him in the middle of the night I started having muscle spasms in my abdomen. I told him about it and he encouraged me to go to the doctor. I went to the doctor that my sister worked for, who happened to be her father-in-law, and then SURPRISE! She told me I was pregnant. Not only that but SURPRISE! I was almost 24 weeks along, and my due date was four days before our wedding date. AHHH!
So I did the first 7 months of my pregnancy alone. We had to move our wedding date up. 3 weeks before my due date they asked my husband to deploy for a month. I told them absolutely not, thankfully they let him stay home! SURPRISE, IT'S A GIRL! She came late, on the date we had originally planned for our wedding.
He drives me nuts sometimes, but I'm crazy about him! Now we're just preparing for his deployment coming up in a couple of months!

I met my husband when we were both working at a movie theater, we were best friends before anything happened. Once we started down that road there was no stopping us! He asked me to marry him 10 days after I graduated high school! We found out we were expecting 3 months later! (Ooops lol)
He is now in Air Force tech school for 6 more weeks at Sheppard AFB, TX.
Things that annoy me about him are that I can hardly hear him sometimes because he is so soft spoken and he's bad about leaving his socks on the floor!

We were stationed together on a patrol boat in Hawaii, we married 8 months after meeting and have been married for almost 12 years now.

He is in the U.S. Coast Guard.

We've been living in different states for 3 years because of his deployment schedule and the fact that we have four daughters (his city is not kid friendly). He is used to me taking care of EVERYTHING, so that's become the norm. I would like for him to take some more initiative sometimes and take some of the responsibility off of my plate.

I met my husband when we were in high school. I was 16 and a Junior. He was 18 and a senior. When he was little he used to be friends with my current best friend, and when I first saw him, I was like 'Kelen, who is that? I think I'm in love." Of course we were just joking, but he was sooo beautiful.
My husband is in BCT for the Army.
He does a lot that drives me up the wall, but I wouldn't change any of it. He is bad about telling me he will take out the trash, and then not doing it. Or he lets our baby play with the game controllers. He never cooks my meat medium rare. He is stubborn as a mule. And boy, do I love him sooo much.

I met my husband in 2006 at a bar. I am soooo totally against taking anyone seriously that I met in bars or clubs, lol. But when I layer eyes on him I was instantly drawn to him. He was so friggin handsome to me, the way he carried himself drove me crazy! And to think, I was not in the mod to go out that night and I only went bc my BFF begged me to. So that entire night I was trying to get up the courage to approach him and I kept backing out. I was so nervous so I kept on drinking a little more liquid courage and then next I knew they turn the lights on in the bar bc they were about to close. I was like, oh well, maybe next time. I also got 2 other guys numbers that night but didn't really care too much bc I just erased them. So as we were about to walk out his friend stops me and I was like, "aw man, I do not want to take one for the team..." We'll his friend then goes on to tell me that his friend wanted to talk to me and that I should go and talk to him, he's in the military, he's single, he's a good guy, etc... So when he points to him, low and behold its the guy I was eyeballing the entire night! I was sooooooo stoked! So he came over and we introduced ourselves and we have been inseparable ever since! He was actually on leave the time I met him and he was between bases. About 1 month in we decided to get married so when he was able to take leave again we went to the JOP and got married. So here we are 6 years later and we have a 2 year old son and I wouldn't change a thing! He is my rock, my best friend and the best husband and an awesome dad! He drives me crazy everyday, but that's why I love him! Bc if I didn't love him he wouldn't phase me!

I met my hubz at a Pizzeria. I had been working there with my ex-boyfriend, and when he got fired for being stupid, I dumped him and we split up but I kept working there. A few months later my dark prince shows up clad in a black garbage bag. Lol. He wore it over his clothes to keep him dry while washing the dishes. Which was my job! I was seventeen and he was twenty-two. (If the age difference is odd to you, I assure you, I felt older and still do. A hard life will do that to you.) I thought he was really weird at first so we didn't talk much. Then he started poking and prodding me to talk to him, and I couldn't help but be sucked into his annoying charm.

We dated for about a year, then circumstances led us to quitting that job, and going to work together at a different job, as well as move in together. A few months later he proposed. We both agree that we knew we were the right ones for each other when we both realized that we weren't "falling in love" at first sight. We just liked each other at first, thought the other was really cool and wanted to spend more time getting to know one another. Then a light bulb flicks on and you realize this is the person you want to spend eternity with. Even though he plays WAY too much Mindcraft...LOL.

A few months after our first anniversary, we had our first lovely little girl. He joined the Navy to better support us and the rest is present. I love my guy with all my heart. He's helped me become a better person in so many ways, and truly loved me for me. He saw my dark side and kissed it until it melted into light. I love him AND his family. They are all a treasure to my heart and soul. After growing up in a broken home and so many other life issues, meeting him and his family, was like lifting a drowning woman out of the sea. His family is so loving, so close together, and they've brought me to tears of joy many times. I am eternally grateful for getting to meet my guy and for becoming a part of his wonderful family. :]

But yes, he does drive me up the wall often...Lol. But that's typical in any relationship and I'm not a petty person to point out all of his shortcomings. Because I know I'm much worse. Haha!

We hit it off and were inseparable, that is until he had to go back to Iraq :( In April he asked me to marry him over the phone. He came home August 13th 2006 and we were married August 15th 2006, yup only 2 days later! I had a 2 year old son and he took on the role of daddy and he is an amazing daddy! We have now been married for 5 1/2 years and have 3 amazing babies, 8 years, 4 years and 7 months! He is my everything and we are completely inlove with eachother!

Hi I met my husband on the subway in washington dc in 2004. He wasnt military yet. We dated and he told me that I was his destiny, and that there was something different about me. Awwww... Lol... So we dated for a year, he proposed in 2005 than a few months later I found out we where expecting our first baby... He decided to join the military. Which made me love him more even though he drives me crazy. We got married December 2006 and moved to Norfolk va where we have been stationed ever since and we have 2 more kids.
He drives me mad, he leaves his dirty cloths on the floor and leaves him beer bottles everywhere. I swear he thinks I'm his house cleaner. He is 30 but acts like a kid, all he want to do is play video games. Not saying that I don't sometime play with him. Lol
Even though I might complain about him he truly is my best friend. We get along so well and I couldnt imagine a better partner for me.

I was in early time of my college just 18.Both of our family meets before. he was on duty so he was unable to came to see me. that makes me angry. I thought that I was going to marry that person who has no interest in me. When parents decided the marriage date he wanted to talk wid me. now my turn I refused strictly to talk wid him. Without a proper interaction we got married in 27 jan 2004.After 6 days of marriage he back to his duties so terrible but each moment he was free from his task he gave me a call we talked just for 2 minutes n count how many times I LOVE U s were said by each of us. happily ever we have 2 angels of 7 and 5. still he is on duty in ARMY. OMG Nyke your story is almost identical to mine. From our first conversation he told me I was "the girl of his dreams and he was in love with everything about me". I was totally freaked out. After that all my friends thought he was literally crazy. That may be why they're giving me such a hard time.

I met my hubby at a mutual friend's house. He was a Marine at the time, stationed in the good ole' stumps (29 palms, ca). He told me I was the "girl of his dreams literally", and looked at me like he loved me from the very beginning, which let me tell you.. freak me out completely! But we dated, then were engaged, and married all 60 days to the day we took our first long walk and got to know one another (a week after we met) lol. So here we are 9.5 years later, he is literally my best friend! Life isn't perfect, but we are truly blessed with love! Lets see something that drives me nuts... oh he has insomnia, so sometimes he'll come to bed and without thinking, he'll wake me for the remote. The problem is once I'm awake I can't fall back asleep, and then I look over and he's asleep lmbo... gotta love my guy!!

Its so encouraging to hear stories of other couples who've taken the plunge to get married after only a few months of dating and have made their relationships last. I love my soldier but my friends have been giving me the hardest time about marrying him after only dating two months. They all seem to think its absolutely absurd to get married if you haven't been dating at least a year already. I personally do not believe that it take that long to know if he's the one I want to be with for the rest of my life but its gets to me not having the support of those I love the most.

I met my current boyfriend back when I was 16 through a mutual friend. He was turning 21 so it was strictly a meet and greet type thing. Fast forward to five years I received a message on Facebook from this guy that I haven't seen since I was 16 with an Army uniform on. We exchanged numbers and got to know each other. We're been together 2 months and have only spend two of those days together. Now we're rushing to get married so we (me and my 1 year old son) can accompany him to Germany for his first PCS. Crazy right? We have never stuck to the normal way of doing things. What he does that drives me up the wall? He's very much to himself. He would rather be alone while I want to be surrounded by people.

My husband and I met when I was 15, and he was 19. His younger brother was a good friend of mine, and when we started hanging out he introduced me to his brothers and sisters as they showed up around his house. He hung around his brother(my husband) alot so we got to know eachother. (Trust me, I didn't act or look 15 lol) He actually ASKED my parents if he could date me which was really sweet. And they said yes, and we have been together ever since. Got engaged in December of 2009, had a pretty long engagement, We got pregnant right when he had to leave for boot, he got back and we got married :). He drives me crazy when he over thinks things, and gets grumpy when he has to think really hard lol. So i took over most of the bills and stuff so he could just bring in the bacon and I take care of everything else. I'm used to the added stress, He doesn't need to be stressed out while taking care of America :)

I met my husband at a club. YES a club. I always heard your cant find a good man at the club, good thing I wasn't looking it's like he fell out of the sky. He's a Marine. When I first met him, he told me he was a Marine and was so cocky with it. It didn't impress me like it did the other women in the club. I'm a Marine brat i've been around them my whole life, so he was pretty amazed at how Ididn't melt at his occupation. I knew that his cocky nature was just an act, and once I got through that wall, there was an amazing man who had so much laughter and love. 3 years later here we are! I fell so deep in love with the person he is, funny, outgoing, he has no enemies and everyone loves to be around him. I can't think of what he does to drive me nuts right at this moment, but i'm sure once my brain starts to think of anything, i'll have a list for you lol..hey, I love him to death but driving each other crazy comes with the territory!

I met my husband while we both were working at Hardees. He knew my dad because my dad was a school teacher at the school he attended. The funny thing was my dad wanted me to date his best friend. I knew he had a girlfriend so I didn't try to talk to him. We started talking one night. Next thing all of our friends were hanging out all the time. One night we had a girls night out and he called and asked me out while I was pumping gas. He joined the military after a year in college. Before he left for boot camp, he told me to plan a wedding but don't tell anyone. So he came home for a weekend during c-school and we were married. Have been married for almost 3 years. One thing he does that bugs me is when he takes out the garbage, he doesn't put in another bag.

I met my husband (Army) at my work; GAP 3 years ago. It so happened to be my last day there and was put in a different department that I never worked before. He came in with two of his friends who were looking for a sweater vest? I pretty much told them I had no idea what they were talking about, primarily because I didn't care and knew my shift ended in an hour. My "husband" decided to try on some clothes that they asked me to pick out, and I simply said "Looks good on you" (This is where my husbands and I's version differs, but this is the REAL version). He decided to buy the outfit I put together for him. At the very end of the transaction, he asked for my number. I rolled my eyes and walked away. I figured "typical military guy, hitting on a local girl.." He followed me and told me he didn't know anyone and just arrived on the island (I live in Hawaii) and asked if I could show him around. I ended up giving him my number. I had just gotten out of a 4 year relationship and thought "why not."

Long story short. He deployed to Iraq, we stayed in touch throughout the entire deployment. Before his R&R, he asked me to come to Illinois to visit his family. I was very hesitant, but he insisted and said he'd pay for my ticket. I went there and it was a great 2 weeks. Of course, our relationship only became stronger and blossomed. We remained close for the last 5 months of his deployment. I was there for his return to the islands.

With the approval of my parents, he proposed 4 months after arriving. My parents were very happy, including my daughter who became extremely attached to him (his step-daughter). We married shortly after. He is now deployed in Afghanistan. 2 days before deploying, we found out we were expecting a baby. My husband is beyond ecstatic and I am simply amazed at how involved he is. It's weird to understand that because of him being deployed, but he actually has open communication with my doctors. There are times where we actually skype during OB appointments. His face is priceless everytime he hears the heartbeat or sees baby on the screen. During one of our skyping sessions, he found out we were expecting a boy.

As far as things that drive me up the wall-- he likes to stay at home and relax where I like to go out and do fun things. I work 6 days a week and anytime to get out is great for me, whereas he can stay at home and sleep the entire weekend off. He also looooves to splurge. Yes, he makes his money (we don't share accounts), and can do what he wants just as I do what I want, but this kinda spending is redic. He bought a Chevy truck, and traded it in for a brand new 2010 one 4 months later, and bought a Motorcycle all in the same month. He buys computers, tv's, phones like nothing. He definitely likes to live the luxury life whereas I'm a penny saver. When I tell him he'll regret it, he laughs it off... months down the road he'll tell me "Yeah, you were right." Ai!

We got together 2 days after my 24th birthday, (August 25th 2009). He got a call from his Army Reserves Commander in February 2010 telling him that he was going to Iraq in June 2010. We got married April 3rd 2010. We made it through the long year deployment and we're still going strong today. What bugs me is when he ignores me and plays on his Xbox for hours at a time. He's been home since June 20th 2011 and that's all he does all the time. I'm about to smash it lol.

We then married six months later and will be celebrating sixteen years together this October 7th. :) He is in the Airforce. When everything fell apart with his friend we started hanging out. Two months later he held me down and tickled me until I asked him out. We've been together for almost ten years. He joined the Army my senior year of high school. There is only a few things that drive me nuts. His video game habit is at the top of the list. The second is telling me he'll do something in just a minute and it doesn't get done. My full trash can, he even complained about it this morning, is proof that he forgets to do what I ask him. LOL We met online by total fate. We chatted online for a week (at first I thought he was crazy), then I allowed him to call me. We talked for hours on end everyday after he got out of school (navy school). After about a month I decided it was ok to meet him. We went on a date and spent the entire weekend hanging out during the days. That was over 8 years ago. :)

I met my hubby first week of college at AFROTC Physical Training. We had same major and both were in greek houses. I actually dated a frat brother of his for 2 years. He married and divorced after college...we'd stayed friends for 9 years when we started dating and married a year later. That was 8 years ago, 5 bases since, and a set of twins. Not much drives me crazy about him...except when we PCS. About 3 months out (if we get that much warning, haven't always) he gets all OCD on cleaning out the pantry and fridge. REALLY, we have to eat and I'm not gaining 20 lbs because we eat out the last 2 months because of his OCD. Nonperishable good will pack, and when we run out of stuff, I'll get just enough for the meal I'm fixing, but he doesn't see it that way. At least, we are well practiced at this now and he can laugh about it, but there still a little tension about it at times.

Are there any military wives who are between the age of 18-45, with at least one child, been married for at least two years and have experienced at least two deployments? If so, are you interested in being interviewed? Please email me at keshiakeith@yahoo.com for more information.

I met my now Husband online a little over 3 yrs ago. I was living with my Parents in Daytona Beach & he was down from SC with some friends just on a little weekend vacation. He asked me to go out to dinner with his buddies & him! We hung out the rest of the nite & weekend! We talked for about 3 or 4 weeks and he asked me to come and stay with him. I knew it was a risk, but hey you only live once and I was really feeling him. Three years later, we are Married have an almost 2 yr old daughter & a little boy due November 1st :-) My Hubby is a Marine has been for almost 8 yrs! Just re-inlisted for another 4yrs! There isnt really much that he does to annoy me... just thinks that he is always right & there is no changing his mind! We are two stubborn ppl, so you could only imagine!

I love telling the story of how my husband and I met. Its a bit long but I'll give you the short and sweet version. My husband and I were both on Deployment in the Navy. I was stationed with a Helo Squaron and he was ships company. Well I had a friend hold me a spot in the laundry line and I guess my husband worked with my friend. I was introduced to him and I was very interested in him. He was shy but Very Very Good Looking and had these eye's to die for. Anyway well after we left port I started seeing him around the ship (I swear I wasnt stalking him) and I would say hello and well we started chatting over email and eating chow together. I emailed him telling him I had a friend who thought he was hot. Well Yeah it was cheesy but He knew it was me. Anyway we went on our first Date in Malaysia and became an official couple in Japan. I was in Love. We got back to the States and he moved in with me. We were married on the beach and 4 years later we have 3 beautiful boys (including a set of twins) and couldnt be happier. How many people can say they met their love of their life in Dubai Doing laundry?....

Goodness what doesnt he do that doesnt drive me crazy! That's why I married him he drives me crazy in all the right ways! :)

I met my husband on Myspace I was just snooping around before I had to go to work and I was junior in high school. He made a statement he didnt talk to anybody under the age of 18 and i was 17 a the time so I decided to be funny and I emailed him anyway just to laugh about it later. I had no intentions of him writing back until like three days later he wrote back. He was deployed at the time so I was suprised I didn't know he was a Marine until he said he was deployed and he told me what branch he was in. So we became really good friends we talked like everyday on the computer and than close to my birthday he asked for my number so I gave it to him wasnt expecting any calls from him and the day of my 18th birthday he called me and wished me a happy birthday and we talked more on after that. in July of 2005 he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes and so than like by september when he returned home I was as senior in high school and I met him for the first time in person. We got married in 2007 and four years later here we are we had our first and only daughter in 2008. He runs me up the wall by being slow lol we can make plans to go out and he takes like forever just to get dress mind you I am getting myself and our daughter dressed and we are done way before him lol

@ Michelle. OMG! My husband taught my 4 year old son how to play too and he plays really well. I've banned my husband and son from Call of duty. My son is hyper active enough he doesn't need such a violent video game to play.

i met my husband our freshman year of highschool. we started datign our junior year and it was really rocky. we broke up before his basic training the summer before senior year and were on and off all senior year... right before AIT after we graduated he asked me back out and proposed to me 5 days later and we have been together since. we have been married now for 2 years and have a 2 year old daughter and our son in coming anyday now. =].
what drives me up the wall with him is his love of video games. he works untill 11pm and then will come home and play games untill 2am ish. and then will finally come to bed. he will get so upset that he will start yelling and it can get so loud that it will wake me up. i have actually grounded him off his games and hid them from him lol. he now has our 2 yr old playing call of duty and she is kinda good at it. but i got to say over all he is a great father and husband and im glad that he is in our lives.

I met my husband in 2nd grade. We were just friends through school. He went away to basic and I did the college thing. One day I was out shopping and he walked up to me- basic does a body good!!. I was hooked. We have been together 9 years. He comes from a family were showing emotion was a sign of weakness, he tries but I wish he would try harder. He is a good man, sweet when he tries, loving- though its hard for him to show.

I meet my Husband at church he was 12 I was 11, at 14 and 15 we were dating each others best friends, when that didn't turn out we kept in touch and started dating @ 16 and 17. I had our son at 18 we married at 19 had our second son at 20 and now we are going to have a daughter at 23. He's in the Army. He's an E-5 trying to get his bachelor's and go officer. I love him to death and he a great husband and an awesome father.

The thing that drives me up the wall is his love for video games, now I like playing also with him sometimes but it takes up alot of his free time. I've threatened to unplug, hide, trash, and toss his PS3 out our apartment on the 8th floor. When his Ps3 Crashed (getting what is called the yellow light of death) while he was playing I swear our whole apartment building could hear hear him yell and scream that it died....LOL

I met my husband when I was 12yrs old (he was like a week away from turning 12) in 6th grade. We didn't exactly hit off right away, infact we didn't become friends until high school. By the end of our senior year though we engaged (after only a month of dating). He joined the Air Force right after high school. He has done a total of 12 yrs between active duty and the reserves. This coming Friday we will be out for good.
The main thing he does that drives me crazy is spends far too much time on the computer.
