Anyone know how to treat shin splints???? I have it bad and they really hurt, I have iced them, soaked in a hot bath, rubbed ice gel into them nothing is working. I have to work tonight, which means alot of walking and I cant even walk around my house. The only time I havent felt them this weekend was when I numbed them with alcohol..hehehehehe

yea they are better but I have to play again today and I still havent replaced my shoes. I have nurofen on board so hopefully I wont feel anything...

I had shin splints as a teenageer, they were so bad I would wake up crying. My dad used to come into my room and rub my legs until the pain went away. I also used heating pad + ibueprofen 975mg.
Are they any better??
