My name is Ariel. I am a mother of a nearly 5 month old son, Maddox. I live in Washington State. I created this group as a place to confess your real mom stories, struggles, worries, fears, anger! Anything! I would like this to be a fairly judgement free place, obviously when you get any group of women together there is bound to be some drama! But please be repectful of one another, we all need an outlet! So go ahead ladies! Tell it like it really is..... cant wait to hear your stories!

I just had my second baby I have been making my two year old take longer naps than she needs soi can get rest I feel bad because I know she does not need a two or three hour nap. Butihave been getting so little sleep I need the rest and I know she is feed and has a clean diaper and she has toys to play with

No kidding! I was reading the posts from another group I belong to where the mom was asking for advice on how to help the baby sleep longer at night. You would have thought she was asking how she could go off on holiday and leave the baby to fend for itself! We need people to listen and respond with openness and fairness not judgment and ridicule. There are enough people out there helping us to feel guilty about what we are or are not doing correctly for our babies, it is nice to have a place to go where we can reassure each other. Or just vent! Thanks Ariel. P.S. my daughter is 5 mos old.

Thank you for posting Karen! I agree, and I think that society is coming to realize (slowly but surely) that moms are people too! And that we have trials and frustrations as well as anyone. We also need support and a way to make light of our more difficult days.

Hi Ariel, What a great idea! I'm having a pretty good day today so nothing to confess atm but I wanted to post to say how important having a forum where we can be honest about motherhood is. So much about being a mum is idealised by the media, friends, family etc and lots of times it is awesome but there is another side sometimes and it can be hard to be honest about that. People seem to interpret complaining or struggling with something as a signal that you don't love your baby which is utter nonsense.



btw, I have a 5 month old son too!
