this is a daily battle that i find myself repeating and trying not to pull my hair out, but trying to teach my kids to clean up after themselves, we try the clean up song which they like but the youngest will pick it up and turn around and dump it. and i dont want it being a fight with the 2 oldest which it usually is! mommy i didnt make the mess, these are not my toys etc. grr

thanks tierra, they sem to like the clean up song the best as for candy, i dont want crazy kids running around they do enough laps without the candy lol

There are numerous ways to get them to clean up. To get them to clean make it a game, Sing the clean up son "Clean up clean up every body do your share clean up clean up everybody everywhere", and/or when someone dose pick up their toy give them a treat a little piece of candy something to show them they did a good job then the other will want to join in.
