Hi Mommas! Just wanted to give props to Grand Targhee Ski Resort's festivals, as I was inspired by the Bonnaroo chats regarding hot weather & far-away camping. Check out www.grandtarghee.com/summer/music-festivals. The camping is close, there is shade under the aspens, it's at a ski resort, so the elevation keeps it mostly cool. There are always vendors with hula hoops, sticks, bubbles, face painting, etc. I've been taking my almost 15 y.o. there since she was 3 & have found it to be really kid friendly and still small enough where you can find places away from crowds. This year's line-ups are incredible - including Gov't Mule, Grace Potter, Yonder Mtn. & Railroad Earth. Love, love, love this place
