For my first pregnancy 9 years ago, all I did was walk the dog. And I gained like crazy, and since it was my first and I breast fed, I lost it pretty fast. But the labour was 16 hours and I got the epidural.

With my second pregnancy almost 3 years ago, I went to the gym 5 days a week, and i lost my mucous plug on the circut. It really helped with labour 5 hours and no drugs or pain medication. My prepregnancy body just pretty much bouced back, the nurse who came to see me the day after to check on my uterus, was shocked at how small it was a day later.

Now with this pregnancy I am still going to the gym atleast 3 times a week and I feel great. I have had no morning sickness, or any of the unpleasant side effects that comes with pregnancies. I have six weeks to go until my due date and I don't have the extreme swelling in my face or anywhere else on my body. I've been told I'm all belly and I don't even look like I'm pregnant from behind. I've been training for this labour, now that I know what to expect. I am very excited about going into labour. I know it's going to hurt, but I also know that I will be prepared physically and mentally.

The gym is my time for me, and with the awsome playcare in the gym it allows me to continue to go and bring my kids there so they can also get a work out at the same time. I feel great and my only advice to other women who want to get pregnant if you can, exercise all parts of your body not just walking for as long as you can.

You go, girl! I did that with my second pregnancy, and it was a big help. The only problem I had was that I had a big baby at birth, all of 12 lbs! hahaha And so I ended up with emergency CS. But it made it easier to carry with no swelling on my face and specially my ankles and feet. It also helped me lose weight quicker soon after.
