Help!! My once well behaved 17 month old now objects to anything where he has to be immobile. Changing a diaper/getting dressed takes forever, washing his face is impossible and brushing his teeth......a nightmare! He used to come at me with his mouth open when he saw the toothbrush, now he runs away! I have been told by others that this is a stage he is going through. Anyone else experiencing/experienced this?

EXPERENCED THIS... HECK I WROTE THE BOOK AND SAW THE MOVIE TWICE!!! LOL! SEE I HAVE TWO SO I NOW KNOW ITS NORMAL! WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS MAKE THESE THINGS FON FOR HIM, MAKE HIM THINK THEY WERE HIS IDEAS AND NOT YOURS1 SOMETIMES AWARD GOOD BEHAVIOR. SHOW HIM THAT GOOD BEHAVIOR GETS HIM EVERY THING AND BAD BEHAVIOR GETS HIM NOTHING! MAKE A SONG ABOUT GETTING DRESSED THAT MAKES HIM FEEL THIS IS SPECIAL TIME BETWEEN THE BOTH OF YOU AND HE WILL GROW TO LOVE IT! AND YOU!
