My daughter is mixed (Portuguese and Black) and I am having a hard time with her hair. It is very curly, and very soft, and I absolutely love the curls. But I can’ seem to find a product that will help keep the curls all day long. I wanna just leave it out every once in a while, and not up in ponytails or pigtails. I refuse to use oil in her hair, but I really don’t know what else to use. Can anyone help me??

my daughter is black white and dominican I know all about the CURLS... I use Johnson and Johnson shampoo and conditioner formulated for curly hair, then a nice detangler and then hair gloss.... when curly hair gets dry it looks nappy ughhh but this does work great the key really is to use stuff that keeps is moisturized and silky

I used to work at a saoln, try to find one that sales Redkin products, they are amazing. Garnier works too, the oils, you can get that at walmart. My brother is mixed too and had the curly soft hair and those worked for him until it got corse the black hair. They still kind of do :] wash her hair and use conditioner, then squirt some int he palms of your hands and finger it through the mid and ends of her hair then scrunch it at the ends, should work :]
