A friend of mine had a similar problem. Her daughter would play with her poop. When she did that, she would get a nice warm lovely bath. So she researched and asked all sorts of people and finally got this advice. After it happens again, instead of a warm bath, give them a COLD SHOWER! The first time, her daughter was a little freaked but after the second cold shower, she never played with her poop again. Hope that helps!

if the other advice doesnt work then i would suggest you try tough love by telling him if he does it then he is going to have to walk around in it until you get ready to change him. it worked for my friend when her child kept making herself throw up so she had to wear the clothes for the rest of the day. however with you situatuion i would only do it at the house unless he is really trying to test you.

My daughter was the same and I cutted her off her best toys, no rewards or treats and it worked in no time!! Sometimes we have to be that way to make them understand stuff. Hope that will help!

Kids are smart. Very smart. So don't underestimate him. Try setting a goal with him like if he doesn't poop his pants for a week then you will take him to his favorite place or do something new. Once he doesn't do it for one week, hopefully he would stick to it.

If that doesn't work then don't give him the option of pooping in his pants. Have him not wear pants. Then he'll have nothing to poop in except for the toilet. :)

Or you could give him some form of entertainment for when he's on the toilet. Maybe a book or a toy or music that he can only use when he's on the toilet. His special toilet only activity.
