when is it a good time to start potty training my 17 month old son??..he starting to take off his diaper now...any suggestions..

my 3 yr old started potty training at 18 months. Thats when she showed interest. If he takes his diaper off take that as a sign of "ok you have to go potty" and sit him on the potty. That might associate taking off his diaper to sitting on the potty. He might start thinking "evrytime i take off my diaper, mommy puts me on the potty." My 2 yr old went thru a similar phase and I just made sure she had a onsie on or jumper suit to make it harder for her to take it off since she wasn't interested in sitting on the potty. To this day she still isnt ready to potty train whereas he older sister was interested at 18 months. Hope that helps. :)
