If you were to list the top10 items you found necessary when you had a baby, what would they be?

Hi. I was wondering if you could quickly list the top 10 things that you would consider a 'must' when you have a baby (i.e. pacifier, receiving blanket, the right type of bottle, a nanny, anything!)?

Same goes for toddler, preschoolers, and then kindergarteners.

New Baby:

1. Receiving blankets

2. Lots and LOTS of diapers and wipes

3. Onsies

4. Nutritious finger foods and juices easily accessible for yourself so you don't forget to eat, especially if you're nursing.

5. Something to wear the baby in... a wrap or sling.

6. Car seat

7. Baby monitor

8. A comfortable chair like a glider rocker or recliner to sit in and nurse for hours on end.

Nice to have, but not absolutely necessary:

9. Wipes warmer

10. Baby Swing

For me, I found that the things I THOUGHT were essential weren't... i.e. a crib. My kids slept with me, not in a crib.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.
