My son won't eat his food when I add in the Poly-Vi-Sol Multivitamin with Iron. Any suggestions of how I can get him to take his vitamins?

I actually stopped giving it to him...we went for his 9 month checkup and they said his iron level was within normal limits. I haven't given in a couple of weeks. Thanks for checking;-)

Did the fruit work? I know my sister would just give her son the vitamin straight and quick in the mouth, then feed after. My son hated that, but it could work for you.

Thanks for the tip Lisa! I currently mix it in with his oatmeal and fruit but I will give it with just the fruit...maybe that will be enough to mask the taste! Thanks again!

Try mixing it with a little of his favorite fruit instead of his entire meal. Do you feed him any of the Gerber cereal or formula with Iron? I do so I don't give my son the PVS with iron anymore, per his ped. But this mixing trick worked for both the PVS with and without iron with my baby.
