Yep, my hubby does frac for Pioneer in Midland, TX. Lots of long hours. It's hard. We don't see much of each other so we make the best of the time we have together.

Hi I am new here and my boyfriend is a fracker out here in Midland TX right now the oil boom is big and fracking is not doing to bad either. His hrs were cut from 100 a week to 70-80 a week.

I live with him and so far everything is great and he is in a middle of divorce and has a cute 1 yr old daughter. Glad to see other people are on here.

He doesn't work in fracking, but he works with in conjunction with the frac crew--he needs them to be able to do his job.

My husband was operations manager of frac tech up until the end of February down around the San Antonio area. Since they let him go he is now hauling cement and frac sand, but hopefully soon he will be getting back into the fracking business....WAY BETTER PAY!!
