What do you ladies and gents use to remove those stains? Have you ever tried using Solu-Mel? It is a tea-tree based product that takes everything off.
Anything others?

If you use hand cleaner (like what your husband probably uses at work) it helps get the stains out. Just rub it on the stains, let it soak in for a while, then wash it with your detergent and baking soda and/or Borax, and it should help get the stains out. That's what has always worked best for me!

You get Solu-Mel online. It is from a range of laundry, soap, shampoo etc that are tea-tree oil-based. Environmentally-friendly, no bleach, no ammonia, no phosphates. Not tested on animals. No formaldehyde like a lot of things, so it is safer for your family. And best of all, cheaper.

Where do you find the Solu-mel? My hubby's cloths are cakes in oil base mud, and its getting all over my washer and his clothes never really come out clean.

I use Dawn with a little bit of the blue Pine Sol in it .... Coke works great too depending whats on it ... I also do a rinse after with Dawn in it to clean the washer out afterwards ... works wonders

Dawn does work great; I have also used soda ash (that my husband brought home from the rig), But i have found that pouring a can of coca cola in with the laundry works the best on rig clothes.

Solumel works great as well I have started using a lil Dawn dishwashing soap in the loads with my daughters clothes, after the washer fills before you put the clothes in & it seems to be helping alot with her clothes. But do not put it directly on the clothes for some reason it wants to leave a dark grey mark.
