Hi everybody.
So I am new here and I just want to branch out to other women who are in the same situation; because if you are not its very hard to understand. I would love to chat with other mommies

Hi,
Not sure where your located.....Im in Canada...I noticed there are a few from my way on this site but they are on the Western Side...Where most of our oilfields are...Im in Eastern Canada. we are living here close to my family & my husband commutes to Africa. Right now he has a great rotation 28 days on & off...this is good compared to previous years where it was 6 on 4 off. The kids & I found that brutal.
Its hard....the time flies when hes home and lags when hes gone.
I stress about all sorts of things.... We had almost 2 years of time in Houston TX. When we were together as a family he was in the office and home weekends. But it was really lonely in the states & difficult to make friends ..it didnt work out.
Although even here at home we dont have a family situation like others so its not much different:)
I would really like to hear about your situation..
