I was my husbands greasers at the laundry mat and I have found the secret to getting his cloths clean ( 1 part detergent, 2 parts dish soap) but once a month he brings we home his wonderful work gloves to wash! They are black when I put them in and black when I take them out. Any ideas on how to get those clean?

Try the laundrymats degreaser solution. I've used liquid and powder depending on where I go. Also auto stores degreaser. Sometimes simple green too. Give them a try.

Thanks girls!! Ive used the coke before but I will have to try it again. I put it directly on the gloves next time :) Thanks again!

I'm telling you the can of coke works like a charm! We put the can of coke directly in the washer! Needless to say we don't drink coke anymore lol You would be amazed at what 12 ounces of that stuff will do to oily clothes.

I wash all the greesers together and this sounds weird but do everything as u would a regular load but pour a can of coke on top of them all before washing works amazing!!! the coke eats up the oil so they dont come out with that same greese texture!!!

HOTHOTHOT WATER OXY CLEAN MIXED IN WITH YOUR DETERGENT ...MANY WASHES LOL!
