The winter work was slow and hubby has been around way more then normal. Spring break up has just started and hubby is driving me nuts already. We don't know if there will be any work for him to go back too. How do I adjust to him being around all the time, he has worked away for 14 years. Thank goodness I work during the day.

I know how you feel except that i dont work out of the house so spring break up kills me. lol. he is home more then ever and this year i made a list of things that need to be done, mostly outside of the house. so far it has been good. it takes time to get used to them being around so much after not being around and you kinda feel like they are in your space, the way me and my hubby have done it, we make 1 day a week where he goes out all day ( just like he would at work) and i go the other day. and at night we try to come up with things for us to do together, be it give the kids a bath together, or do the shopping.
the best thing i can tell you is to talk to him openly about how he is driving you nuts. honesty is the best policy right? it may surprise you that he feels the same way. he is used to being with all the guys he works with. try having some of the guys over with their families. because it will help him out and it will help the other guys out as well. guys are like animals they get used to being in a pack and when it seperates they dont know what to do. try a bbq. it works for us to keep the guys up to date with eachother.

lol i totally hear you...my hubby has been off for about 5 weeks and it drove me crazy to have him home....so i went out and found a job!! i had to get out...no one seems to understand how our relationship works with him away all the time but it works for us and we're happy this way!! but this 5 weeks has been nuts so i went and found a job and that helped me cope! Also just getting out and doing stuff you would'nt normally do..going to visit family go on vacation, ect... has helped us as well!

i kinda know how you feel, my hubby has been on break up for about 5 weeks now and is still on gravey schedule up all night and sleeps most of the day away.....very annoying!!!
