Hi, my husband works in Fairview, MT. He moves the man camps in Montana and North Dakota. I currently live in Washington state with our 3 kids. This summer I am considering moving there so our family can be together.

My husband has been working for Sun Well for almost 3 years and I just moved from Tx to Richardton ND with our two boys to be with him. It is different for sure but I am happy to be with him. Hopefully I will meet some people besides the guys he works with.

My husband is working in Belfield ND. I am in Michigan.I am having a very hard time being apart. I am about to head out there..I don't care if I have to sleep in my car..I miss him so much. I am handicapped. so that might prove to be a little hard on me..but I am getting desperate!

I think all the wives of workers in ND should get together and insist that they make wife camps!

My husband is in Tioga ND,,,I'm in Eureka...he's gone for 2-3 months at a time and then comes home for two weeks...He's doing land surveying and plotting points.

My Hubby just got a job with Stride Well Service in Sidney, Mt. and we're looking to move as soon as we find a place(ANYTHING) in Sidney. :) I'm hopeful, but I know the housing there is crazy expensive and hard to come by......I'm due with my 4th in 9 weeks also. ANyhow, I hope to meet some new friends up there soon! EXCITED!!

Good evening,
My family just moved to Williston, ND from Lafayette, La. It was a complete culture shock, but it is nice to be home together every night. Seems a little hard for a women to get a satisfying job here though. I am being patient, but it is wearing thin. We come from an area where there are things to do every night of the week. Seems like no one does much here. Is there any one else from the south??

Mark spent about 3 weeks in Dickinson working on a 24 hour rig. He might be going back. As long as they keep busy !!

Yea, he's been staying pretty busy, over by Keene watching a rig. He's been in the yard with a few other pushers the past week doing some kind of training. They asked him to watch another 24 hour rig but we have a new born and a 2 year old so he comes home at night to help me.

My husband is a toolpusher for Nabors Well Service out of Williston. His 24 hour rig was recently "stacked out" and now he's watching "daylights" We live in Reserve, MT so he gets to finally come home every night instead of staying at the location! Does anyone's husbands work on Nabors 164?

We live in Williston and my husband is an operator on a millineum rig for Nabors Well Service. Thank goodness he is running a workover rig and keeping my fingers crossed he stays busy and the drilling rigs get going again. We relocated here last March from Kenmare and hope we made the right choice : )

My husband has been doing some welding over at the plant the last couple weeks.  But up until recently he has been pipelining or working at the shop in Sidney.  work has slowed a little, but as long as they still have work that is good. I am waiting for the weather to warm up a little before I come over for another visit!

We actually lived in Richey for 9 months, I taught school there and my husband drove the 45 miles into Sidney then got in his truck and drove all day....my paychecks weren't even covereing the gas for him to drive to work, so I quit my job and we moved into town.

I live in Bottineau, North Dakota.   My husband is rough-necking in Ritchie, Montana now.   They had been near New Town, North Dakota before that.  He sure hates the extra drive to work.  I bet he'd quit comlaining if he heard about how much your husband drives in one day.  YUCK!  Best wishes to you and your family.
