Our newest addition was my five year old neice Brooke (age 5) who's mother is... well having issues. But besides her I have a 4 year old daughter Kari, a 3 year old step-daughter Daylin, a 22 month old daughter Lillyan, and 7 month old twins Jami (girl) and Jeremy (boy).



My husband and I were not planning on the last pregnancy. But everything happens for a reason! right? And then to find out it was twins. I wanted to cry. I was so scared. Lillyan was still a baby her self and then to add two more! I didn't think I could do it. But they are 7 months old now and I still have most my hair.



As for Brooke, I couldn't sit around and watch her go through what she was going through. My husband and I talked about it and we figured, what's one more : ) She has severe ADHD, and we are starting to try her on appropriate meds now. She loves kindergarden, and loves living with us.



Well, most days I don't know if I'm coming or going; but I will say it is never boring at our house.

Oh I feel for you really. I have 8 kids in my house and 5 of them are my step kids. 6 of the 8 kids live with me. I have 5 kids under the age of 6 myself and its hard work really. My son who is 6 is ADHD also and had to find a good program for him to work with so he would be able to start school. So i have a 11, 10, 8, 6,6,4,4,2 year old kids. I am also currently 5 1/2 months pregnant with another boy. 4 girls and 4 boys with #5 boy on the way. So i do not lose my insanity from all of this I do have a great husband who helps out when he can when not working. Its never boring here always something going on with one child. I try a set system with the kids to make sure I do not miss anything throughout the day. A good routine is always handy with a large family like we both have. If you need anything let me know, I am a good listener and i know what you are going through.

Whoa, Karen! Can I add you on my circle? I have a 9 year old that has autism/aspergers. Also he's ADHD. He is one tough kid for me to handle. I have five other kids but he is like having 2 kids in one (or more for that matter). I would love to talk to another mom that understands.

Hi! I thought I had my kids close together! I have a newborn, 2,4,6,8,9. So I had 6 within 9 years, but girl, you beat me! Ha ha! That is so neat you helped out the girl. We did that for awhile too but the grandma ended up taking her after awhile and we were sad. It's not a good thing for her. Anyhow, it's great to see another mom have six kids like I do! Plus, I have a couple of ADHD kids so I know what that is like.

I take m hat off to you. Well done there needs to be more people like you in this world.My partner and I have 5 kids between us. My step daughters are Jessica nearly 16, Emily 13. My sons are Jaykeb 8 1/2 yrs ( he has autism/ asperges, ADHD, Hypotonia, VonWilleBrands Disease and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). Benjamin is 20 months ( he has suspected Haemaplegia cerebral palsy, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Hypotonia). And we have Melissa who is 7 1/2 months ( developmentaly delayed, Hypotonia and suspected Ehlers Danlos Syndrome).
