Hi, I'm Laura, now in Utah, but lived in Ohio for most of my life, to 2 kiddos. Lucas, 6 Aug 31st, & Isabella, 5 Sept 19th. =) Yes, 1 year 19 days apart in age. 2 was enough for me. =) My oldest didn't walk until 17 mos, so, mine were both unwalking for mos. The 1st year was the hardest, but, I LOVE it now! =) For me, 1 year is close, anything up is 'not so bad'. LOL At least maybe your older was walking when your younger was born. Mine didn't walk until my younger was 5 1/2 mos old. =P They are 1" apart in height now & 2lbs apart in weight. DD is TALL & DS is average. =) We love it, & my kids are insanely close. Try to remember how much they adore each other when they are making messes, or fighting, as they will alot. LOL

I was good friends in school w/ an Eric & Erica who were 10 mos apart & in the same grade. &, yes, everyone thought they were twins too. Especially being in the same grade & named 'like twins'. LOL

Hello, Laura! I do not have any experience with babies THAT close (my closest biological kids were 17 months apart), but my husband could empathize with you. My step-kids (who I am raising as my own) are 10 months and 1 day apart. Like you, he says the first year was the hardest! They are 10 and 11 now, and are still close. They are even in the same grade in school!
