I thought having a 21 and 9 month old was hard. But having kids 3,2,1  Wow!! I love having my boys so close together especially since they share the same birthday! :) I'm glad I found this group, makes me smile to know that there is a lot more people who have kids so close in age. :)

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I think we all know how crazy life can be. I noticed the potty training thing and my first wasn't fully potty trained until 3 1/2. It was the poop issue. However, what solved it was a visit with the new neighbors who have an older son. My oldest was soooo embarrased about having an accident at the neighbors house that that was it for him. He almost never had another accident! I encourage hanging out with older children that your child thinks are COOL! As for speaking, I don't know one person with a second child that speaks well, boys anyway. My two year old is very very far behind in speech than my first. It is hard to understand but my older child does speak for him and it took a long time to convince him that it would help his brother NOT to speak for him. It is still hard. However, Will is finally putting more words together and he is 2 1/2. He gets VERY proud of himself when he can express himself with words. As for potty training, not interested! He likes to talk about it but doesn't care that his older brother uses the potty all of the time. Any ideas? I am going with thinking he Will will one day decide he wants to use the potty but would take anything that would work sooner :)

i love the name everett!! that's what i wanted to name our son but i couldn't convince my husband. so we have an adrian. i think its great everyone here has such wonderful kids. its hard but i loved having mine closer together. my first and second are 2 years 9 months and my second and third are 17 months apart. my second is having a hard time potty training also. but so did my first. hopefully my third doesn't follow suit!

Aidan is having a tough time potty training too. We spent a weekend with some friends of mine who had an older little boy and his brother, who is slightly younger than Aidan. He wanted to go ALL the time after watching them. He still won't poop on the potty though. What worked best for me was just switching to underwear. He would just pee in the pull-up, and it wasn't working. He still naps and sleeps overnight with a pull-up, but he wears underwear for the majority of the day. He's great at peeing on the toliet all day, too!! He will wait until I put a pull-up on to poop though. :( Good luck with the potty training!! I think it's a little hard when there are two little ones running around too... I almost think it's easier for them all to be in diapers and just change them all at the same time!! Haha!! It will be AWESOME once all of them are potty trained!

Wow!! 6!!! That's a lot!!!! :) I wish you luck convincing your hubby!! I'm going to be trying to do a lot of convincing too, soon!!

I have 3 little ones. Mikayla is 3, Lana is 2, and Noah is 9 months. My hubby also thinks we're done but I would like six and i don't feel done yet. I never planned to have them this close but we found out with Lana that birth control pills are a fertility drug for me. ooops. I'm trying to potty train my oldest, but nothing i've tried works for longer than a day or two. Any suggestions from moms who have little time like me.

Hi Cari!! Thanks for writing back!! That's totally awesome!! I bet you are super excited about #4!!!! That's awesome!!!! :) I'm still trying to convince my hubby to go for 1 or 2 more, but I'm not sure he's willing. Aidan is a wonderful name, BTW!!! :)

Hi, I'm Cari I started this group, so welcome. I too have three little ones, Jacob is 41/2, Aidan is 21/2, and Dylan is almost 14 months. I am now 14 weeks pregnant with number 4. I have always wanted 5 children, too, but didn't necessarily plan for them to be so close in age. It is alot of work, but I reaaly enjoy it and love watching them grow together and interact with one another. They are all so close and I hope that just continues to grow as they do.

Still, three children, is three children!! I give anyone kudos who decides to bring a baby into this crazy world of ours, let alone three!! :) I love having my kids so close... They were all born in Sept. and Oct. So, they will each be in thier own grade in school and all that, which is nice!!

You have a two year old, too as the middle one?! My little guy is having trouble with speech, but I'm thinking it has a LOT to do with my three year old speaking for him. Aidan tends to be a bit chatty... :) I don't know WHERE he got that from!! Haha...

8 months, 2, and 4, however, the span between the first and second is 2 1/2 years and the sencond and third is 20 months. All in all that equals three kids under the age of 5 but that is nothing compared to one very year for three years. I hand it to you :)

Oh, Thanks!! The theme was "Villains"!! I thought Miss Hannigan was appropriate and no one else had the same costume as me!! :)

I don't think I've had a chance to really think about how close they are in age. It was so quick I barely had a chance to recover!! Which is a lot slower process than I thought!!

What are the ages of your kiddos again!?

Nice costume. I have heard of Irish twins but my goodness. I am starting to think my kids are actually very far apart, lol! I don't know how you do it?
