Any other couple where both parents are cops/deputies?

My husband isn't in LE, but is in the military. I'm a Deputy Sheriff, and work 4/10's, mid's fri-mon. Hearing some of your schedules makes me think only seeing eachother for a few hours a day isn't so bad. We have a 14 month old who I have most of the week days and hubby has on the weekends. He's 10 years in and might get out so we don't have to move or deal with deployments. We just did our first deployment, and working nights while he is gone is nearly impossible with no family to help. My son was with a daycare provider for about 80-90 hours/week while my husband was gone (luckily only for a couple months b/c I didn't start at this dept til he was already halfway done with the deployment) and it just about killed me, I felt so guilty and like I was missing out on so much. It's gotten a lot easier with him home, though.

hubby and i are both officers...same departments but different precincts. we started dating before i went in the academy and he already had several years on....got engaged when i graduated and married a year ago. I have a 10 year old step son who spends as much time with us as our schedule allows. We currently are on same shift and have the same leave days, rotating two weeks of day work and two weeks of nights. We are thinking about having a baby, but trying to figure out how that will work with our schedules....

My Husband is a Deputy Sheriff and I am getting ready to go back to school to become a Police Officer. We met in BLET (basic law enforcement training) got engaged and 4 weeks to graduation I found out I was prego with our now 4month old baby boy. Needless to say my husband graduated and is now doing what I wanted to do. But Starting the end ot this month I am going back to finish. Hopefully this time I will make it through!!

my husband and I are both officers with the same department. We've been on the same shift with slightly different days off, however both 2nd shift (4pm-2am) It has been very difficult working 2nd shift with a baby!! I'm excited to be moving to days in about a month though, so hopefully I will begin to get more than 2 hours of consecutive sleep soon :-)

My husband is a sergeant for one police agency, and I am an officer in a neighboring jurisdiction. We have both been on the job for nearly 11 years (joined within a month of each other, but only met 4 years ago). We have a 13 month old and are expecting #2 in March.
