hi everyone.im new here.Im a firefighter AND police officer wife.my husband is a volunteer firefighter and a fulltime police officer.hes also head of the first responder unit for the fire department.we have a 12 year old daughter that is growing up way too fast!

My Hubby is a Firefighter here in the UK. I love being married to him, every day is different and it's such a great community within the Fire Service also. We have two beautiful Daughters and they are also inot Fire Trucks just like their Daddy! x

Hi everyone! My husband and I are volunteer firefighters and emt's. We met and got married at the fire house. We have a 9 year old son that just loves the fire station.

HELLO. I AM NEW AT THIS..SO BARE W/ ME. I AM  A FIREFIGHTER'S WIFE AS WELL. I AM GLAD THAT CHARLIE DOES WHAT HE DOES..BUT BEING A PART OF A RURAL VOLENTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT IS VERY SIMALIAR YET DIFFERENT. I HAVE GOTTEN USED TO THE CALLS COMING ON AND HE GOES OFF AND ANSWERES IT WEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT. I HAVE GOTTEN USED TO THE DIFFERENT PESONALITIES THAT ARE DOWN THERE, BUT I CANT STAND THE POLITICS THAT AFFECT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. FOR EXAMPLE, THE NEIBORING FIRE DEPT. WANTS TO BE GREEDY AND TAKE MORE MONEY FOR THE MUTUAL AIDE  JUST ABOUT EVERY YEAR. I AM TIRED OF THE BACKSTABBING AND ALL THE NEGATIVE DRAMA THAT HAPPENS. I GUESS THAT IS M Y FALLING OUT OF BEING A FIREFIGHTER'S WIFE. I LOVE HOW HE IS HOME EVERY NIGHT UNLESS HE HAS A CALL, AND HE IS OUT FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE NIGHT, BUT TOO FAR AND IN BETWEEN. ALSO, BEING RURAL, THERE ISNT TOO MANY SERIOUS BIG FIRES SO TO SPEAK. MY SON LOVES SEEING THE TRUCKS AND WANTS TO BE A FIREFIGHTER LIKE HES DAD AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HIS PAPA GREENMAN.

Hi gals, im Kylie, ive just started as a firefighter, im about to begin all my training and am really looking forward to the challenge of it all, Im also a married mum to 6 children, the 2 older girls have flown the coop already, so just the 4 younger ones here at home now, the youngest is 19 months old.

Hi Nicole and welcome!

I'm a police officer and a firefighter's wife as well.  I actually prefer my roll "off-duty" as a firefighter's wife, rather than being a cop's cop, lol.  We have a 18 month old and another on the way.  Thanks for joining and please keep up the conversations!
