Hello everyone. Was wondering if any one had heard of a relationship between developing cherry angioma's and lupus. During my last out break i broke out with approx 30 small red spots all over my body, arms, legs, chest. but the first ones i noticed on my forehead and hairline. the doctor said they were cherry angioma's. I am 27, so not the most common age to get them. and many appeared very rapidly while i was very ill after a mild sunburn. My family doc doesnt have a lot of answers for me, and am still waiting on my referal to the rheumatologist. Has any one heard of this? or is this just a strange coincidence?

I just joined and noticed your message. I also have these (My dad does too and does not have Lupus). My rheumatologist said there was some sort of connection and did a blood test to make sure that I did not have any problems when I was hoping to get pregnant. THe test was negative so I did not investigate this further. I was pretty new to all this so I was overwelmed with just investigating Lupus in general! Have you learned anything since?
