Hi everyone! I was diagnosed 2 1/2 yrs ago after the birth of my 2nd child. I really should have been diagnosed years ago but that's another story for another day. I have not been in denial about having Lupus but I have been VERY passive about it. It's time for me to really learn about this disease & what I can do to help myself. I had my baby boy in September & during my pregnancy I didn't take any meds for the Lupus (I was on Plaquenil b4 that) About the 2nd week of December I started to ache & now I'm in more pain than eve b4. In Novemeber my Rhemutologist gave me a script for Meloxicam/Mobic which helps but is not lasting all day now. (Have an appt next week)
I just read something about people avoiding certain foods...what is that about? What foods? My resolution for 2010 is to inform myself on this disease to better help myself. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
