It is so true that people don't believe what they can't see. I was diagnosed about 2 1/2 yrs ago after I moved to another state & had to get a new primary doctor. I've had the symptoms for years & @ one point was being treated for RA. I have to say that the best I have EVER felt was during my last 2 pregnancies. I didn't even take ANY medication for the lupus!! Wish there was a way I could be "prego" but not really be! LOL! I had my baby boy in September & I am really flaring up in the last 2 weeks all of a sudden.

Diagnosed last year, but drs. think I've had it for years - no one checked until I switched drs. and told of how I would awake feeling like I was on fire, mouth sores, etc. Just happy to talk to others who know what I'm going through. Sometimes people don't believe what they can't see.

I was just diagnosed with S.L.E. four years ago/ I have had R.A. since I was 9 or 10. I also have several other illnesses. But my girls are my world!! They are both my biggest fans and supporters.

I have had been diagnosed since 1998 My son was 2 it effected my kidneys I am doing fine now I have learned to stay away from certain foods and to eat certain foods I do research all the time to keep up with data on SLE

I have had sle since I was 14. I am now 30 and suffering from low platelets, pulmonary hypertension, and severe anxiety.

I have SLE I was diagonosed back in 2003 but the Dr.s say I most likely had my f irst flare right after my youngest son was born
