I am considering going back to work. I enjoy work, but the stress tends to do me in with regards to SLE. My daughter is almost four so she is getting closer to an age where she doesn't need me 24/7.

Have you been successful at balancing work and lupus? Any tips or stories you could share?

How have your symptoms been lately? I have lupus and two young girls and I work, but I've been in remission for awhile.

In some ways I find it less stressful to work. I can control my environment and schedule better, and the structure helps with making sure I'm taking care of myself in terms of eating & even exercise. But it requires a supportive childcare regimen and I do feel like I need to put in extra quality time when I'm at home.
