hi, my friend had ultrasound last week, they saw 3 babies, now this week again for ultrasound, they saw 1 baby is it possible?

my friend is pregnant, just last week she went for a ultrasound, they saw 3 babies, 1 in one sac, that does not has a heartbeat, and 2 in one sac, 6 and 7 weeks, so they say it is a high risk pregnancy, so she decided to get a abortion, because of the high risk, so I went with her this week to see a abortion clinic, they let her do a ultrasound to see how far she is, now they say they only see one baby 9 weeks, so she decided to keep it, is it possible ? just last week 3 babies and now they see only one ? so confusing
