has anyone expreinced a blighted ovum or two (which is suppose to be extremly rare) and successfully gotten pregnant after? my fiance and i just expreinced our second loss in a year from a blighted ovum. we want to start trying again soon but its scary thinking that it can happen again and they wont run any test until you've miscarried three times which is a little depressing.

hi ashley, i am just recently going through a blighted ovum right now. i too just experienced a 2nd miscarriage.. the first was just after 6 weeks and this one was 10 weeks and was a blighted ovum. i'm not sure the status of the 6 weeks, because i had no symptoms like this one (spotting) which led me to go get an ultrasound.
i too am afraid to start again to try.. well, i wont for a couple months now, but i assure you i will try again.. trust me.. i am in the same boat as you, and am going to be completely scared.. but you do whatever it takes, and i do pray and hope that it will go better for you the next time.. please keep me posted.. and all the best to you..
i know that i too will be scared when i am in that boat, because i too do not want to have a 3rd miscarriage :(
