Im 36 and pregnant 10 wks now at 7 wks had ultrasound to make sure wasnt another ectopic. October 2009 found out pregnant then next day had bleeding and cramping. Doctors said was etopic but an unsighted one. So then i had decided not to try again and fell pregnant. I have 2 children from previous husband and my new partner is excited as he doesnt have children. I am so scared that something is going to go wrong. Im depressed all the time and not sure if I can cope with all this waiting. I have a scan booked in 3 wks time but I feel like something is wrong now. No bleeding no pain, just really exhausted and feeling nauseated all the time. ANY IDEAS..

i have never had an ectopic pregnancy. i just wanted to know how your scan went. i hope it all went well.

also i will tell you about a friends experience with an ectopic pregnancy. she had pains in early pregnancy wich was found to be ectopic, she had the pregnancy removed but the weeks went on and she still had pregnancy symptoms and her periods hadnt returned. she was sent for a scan wich found that the ectopic pregnancy also had a twin that had implanted in the right place!! so even after ectopic surgery the twin that had implanted in the womb had survived. she is now 7 months pregnant. i thought her story was so shocking and lovely. just thought i would share it with you.
