Alot of you don't know me but, here is what has been going on with me since October 21, 2008. If not, here is a little background for you. My daughter, 3 months old at the time, woke up with red marks and little bruise looking spots on her leg. Just recently found she has eczema. Took her to the doctor who then in turn told me to take her to St. Louis Children's hospital. While we were there, we were questioned by the police and St Louis Children's division. During our stay at Children's, we were never receiving any answers, I never saw test results or anything. The only answer we got about anything is that everything is normal. Finally, on the 24th, the doctors, Children's Protective Physcians, informed my husband and I that because a presurgical blood screening came back normal, the only thing they could conclude is that bruises were inflicted. My family has been in and out of court since then. My youngest daughter finally came before she turned 9 months old in April. They never said anything about my oldest daughter who is almost 3 years old. There have not been any charges against me up until this past Monday. I am now being sued by the state of Missouri on the charge of count 1 Assault in the Third Degree. This "assault" apparently happened on Oct 20 2008. Earlier I stated that i took my daughter to the doctor on the 21st. Things don't add up. The discharge report was all jacked up. The discharge instruction, where it says discharge to, was originally marked discharge to home, then they crossed it out and put DFS custody. WTF?!?!?! Any one who knows me well, knows that this kind of stuff is not in my character. This charge that is against me is keeping me from completeing college and graduating because of my dream to work in the medical field. This really pisses me off. Now, i am supposed to just let this blow by like it is no big deal? I am supposed to be done with school by October. I can not do my externship with charges. I wanted to work in a nursing home or a hospice. Because the state is so screwed up, they found everything substantiated in NOVEMBER!! It took them 2 months. I guess they are so "busy" it takes them a while. With this substantiation on my name, there goes externship, there goes graduation. What a messed up system. Any ideas or comments feel free. If you are mad at me for this, I understand if you take me off. At least then, i will know who my true friend are and the ones that are behind me on this.

EDIT: We just found out in May that she has eczema, sensitive skin, allergies, and asthma. This is all we were trying to do in October when this broke out.

no changes yet. I go to court on the assault charges next week. I have been talking to an attorney, and he is supposed to get back to me today to let me know whether or not they can take the case or not for malpractice.
