I was a stay-at-home homeschooling mother.
He violently abused one of my children. I've remained single and maintain a blog to encourage other mothers:

Single parents who are also victims of abuse have very unique struggles. They often receive much support...until they leave an abusive spouse. After that, most are on their own.
I'm THRILLED to see a support group for women in my shoes. :)
