Are they working for you? I mentioned them to my gynocologist last year as she wanted to put me on HRT. When I said I would rather try Bioidenticals, she said they were the same and kind of got into a little huff. I never got either one.

Do Bioidenticals have to be prescribed. I feel like my doctor is like yours and would probably role his eyes at me. He had me on birth control to help with overactive period... lots of bleeding. But he recently took me off that. I was getting leg cramps and taking Yasmine which has gotten some bad publicity. I think he go worried that I was having a bad reaction to it.
Did you ever get on the bioidenticals? Did you ever read Robin McGraw's book? I'm curious about it, but I don't usually like to read celebrities health books.

LOL....that's funny, Carol - but probably true.
Biodenticals are for helping with Menopause symptoms; hot flashes, moodiness, etc. They are supposed to be natural, whereas HRT is chemical based and has been linked to breast cancer. So, I really don't want to use it if I don't have to.
Dr. Phil's wife was talking about using bioidenticals on the Dr's one day.

I've never heard of them. What symptoms would they relieve? She probably got in a huff because there would be no kickbacks for her.
