my routine is to make them do homework before they have dinner. Homework first that way it is done. Now I have 1 in public school, 1 in a public internet school, and a homeschooled preschooler so that routine applies to one, working off and on for the secons and fitting short lessons in for the third in the blank spots in my day. Lucky for me that preschool is so easy to fit in small time spots.
